So in 7.2 i had kv den i got the KV1 and KV2 sold KV1 before looking, and nowwww, i need to get the t150?!?! What is this? The only point of the KV-2 now is to get the s51 or arty line! There is NOOO use at all for it. I am making a suggestion here, but why don't the devs make the KV-2 go straight to the KV-3 Tier 7?
What do you guys think? Thanks!

One word: DERP!

Point is that KV-2 has better firepower than the t150. And it feels like a somewhat better vehicle overall.

DERP is everything you won't be able to get without KV-2 and it's still AWESOME.

Agree with everyone above.  But I also think that both the KV-2 and T-150 should lead to the KV-3 instead of the KV-2 being a side path towards the S-51

Why hasnt anyone mentioned Free Slot and 100% heavy crew?

Thats what im talking about ronmasteh if the KV-1 can do that aswell whats the point? OTHER THAN ARTY. like i think they should make it branch to kv 3 aswell, that makes a lot more sense!

The KV-2's original intended use was fortification destruction, which makes it closer to a self-propelled gun than a tank in intended use. In play in WoT it also performs much like a direct fire artillery piece. The only reason to get the KV-2 over the KV-150 is that 152mm gun. Basically, you want to make things go boom more than anything else, which transitions well into SPGs.

The derp 152mm gun on the KV-2 is a unique tank driving experience. I don't keep lower tier tanks once I've bought the next tier, except for this one. Maybe I'll get tired of it some time. One drawback is, all that xp going to the S-51. I don't really need the S-51 since I'm almost done with the US arty line. Would rather use that xp for crew training, and occasionally to convert to free xp.

KV-2 is now for the one that want to experience in the most awesome gun in the game, DERP 152.

I think it is absolutely worth every bit of time grinding to that gun and tank.

I played a couple games with the KV-2 152mm after the patch, and was unimpressed. I was up against high tier tanks always and despite getting side shots off, never did more than ~400 damage with the 152mm, and I typically only got off two shots before being destroyed.

As opposed to... being in the same tier games last patch and only getting 1 shot off
This entire crisis could've been averted by simply looking at the tech tree before selling the KV1 in haste...

Yah the KV2 and T-150 are completely useless in battles now.  Matching these T6 tanks against other T6-T10 is clearly a waste of time for your team.  If you are lucky to survive even one hit from an enemy you are doing well.  Frankly if I see more than one KV2 or T150 on my team I count it as a loss unless the enemy team is matched the same.
Even then both team's time is wasted on counting on those tanks to contribute much of anything.  They are slow, inaccurate, low armor and HP and therefore useless for 90% of the battle they are placed in.  It seems the devs clearly have not played these tanks in regular matches more than a few times to realize what a moronic idea it is to classify them as T6.

for me it seems to make less money then before, maybe I'll sell it and need to buy a SU-85 or PzIV

just two reasons to use kv-2 now. 152mm howitzer, and access to s-51 artillery.
