Currently, I am using the 57mm ZiS-8 because I had the T-28 Elited (therefore the 57 was already unlocked), and it WAS my favorite tank, and the 57mm ZiS-4 is the best gun for the T-28, hands down.

So my question is, is the 37mm worth it? Or is the 45mm good?

Im using the 57mm, i just cant see using anything else. It punches major holes in everything.

37mm Automatic will rip apart tier 2-3, will damage tier 4, i use it on the T-46 for some fun every now and then.

With what the T-50 will be matched against the 37mm will be useless, im using the 57mm.

The 57mm ZiS-8 gives you the best chances of penetrating and doing damage to enemies you meet. All the others would only harass them and would not cause significant damage to enemy artillery pieces.

I actually prefer the 45mm.  It has the same penetration as the 57mm but lower damage and higher accuracy.  I only shoot on the move with this tank so I prefer the more accurate gun.

I vote for the 45mm as my favoured weapon, I happily exchange some damage for accuracy and RoF

the 57mm for me all the way, I have a love affair with that gun from my T-28 and T-34 and will not betray it.

57mm. Even though I shoot on a the move....a LOT in this tank, I loathe having to sit, butt-hugging an arty for like 2 minutes while plugging him full of 45mm holes. Even with HE, the 45mm just takes too long to kill the arty. 57mm =2-3 shots, and I'm rushing again.

45mm, it has a higher RoF, better accuracy, and the same penetration. I don't see any reason to not use it.

I've tried both the 57 and the 37, and see reasons for both. Against the lower tiers I like the 37 (but I've been a great nuisance in higher tiers with it.
I guess I've got to do better shot placement because the 57 seems to bounce more for me.

you have to keep moving in the T-50, and making moving shots with anything but the autocannon is a sheer waste of time

All of its guns are pretty worthless. If you want to bother wasting a lot of credits on a stabilizer, the 57. The 45 is good for dogfighting, but honestly, the tank is not good for dogfighting in the long run. You need to do damage and get out of there fast before someone hits you at range.

It's not that one gun is better than the others; it's just that one is slightly less worse.

37 is probably the worst one. It lacks the pen to do anything if it gets tiered even a little bit higher than 4. And it fires such a weak HE shell you aren't going to damage anything.
