Ouroboros is a freshly founded clan that aims to participate actively in both Clan Wars, Tank Companies and Wargaming sponsored tournaments.Team play is valued, and encouraged among our members in order to promote a sense of camaraderie and brotherhood. In addition, we are interested in quality players rather than having a large number of mediocre tankers.

Currently we are running weekly Tank Companies, and are building a team for Clan Wars. We are looking for competitive players that can have fun with the clan.

BSR is looking to accept a clan merger. If you have 25 or fewer members and are having trouble fielding enough clan war players each evening, BSR would like to have you merge with us. All you need are 15 or more of your current members to each possess one or more tier 10 tanks, have or obtain TeamSpeak3 and run a few evening with us and we will work out a merger plan. We currently have 30 members with 24 possessing one or more tier 10 tanks, we are just experiencing difficulties getting 15 on at the same time any given night. We average 7 on weekdays and 9 to 10 weekends. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, stop by our TeamSpeak3 channel any evening and discuss with one of our senior officers. What military unit has the skull with crossed wrenches?

First, this is a kind of cross post. I asked this question in the european forum, but got no concret answer until now. I guess this emblem could be of some US military unit so I'am asking here.

Dear mods, please move this thread to the right place, should this place isn't.

Under "Exterior -> Emblem -> Military" i can choose the skull with the wrenches.

Any idea what military unit used that symbol?

These things I have found out so far, but none matched:

The C.B's (US Construction Battalion) (later called SeaBees) used a bee with a gun and sometimes a wrench or other tools in it's additional hands. But no skull.
The Waffen SS had the "Totenkopf-Division". It's emblem was a skull without any wrenches.
Lots of units in the US military have a skull in their emblem: http://en.wikipedia....ones_(military) But I found so far none with wrenches.
In the British Army (Armoured Corp) the 17th/21st Lancers have the skull and crossbones as their emblem: http://en.wikipedia....ones_(military) (Thanks to smith841 for that info)
I browsed the site feldgrau. It seems it is no SS unit, but lots of other units did not had their emblem on this site. Maybe it is a emblem used by a german unit, but I think it is unlikely.
I searched futher and found a lot of other units using a skull in their emblem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totenkopf But none of them had any wrenches in it.

I asked our military expert Richard "The_Challenger" Cutland, but he has never come across of such an emblem. He asked the devs, but those things can take time. Devs are normaly quite busy people. Richard was in the British Army for almost 30 years in The Royal Tank Regiment. So it's for sure no british unit emblem.

Two things let me think it is maybe the emblem an old US support unit in WWII:

The design of it and the lot of US units carrying a skull of any kind in their emblem.
It's nowadays associated with bikers and gearheads. Lot's of actual biker insignia are captured trophies. Think about the Iron Cross. But I think it's no german unit so the most likely is an US support unit, which they saw and found cool.

And that's why I'am asking here!

8.5 Application Error

Hi all,

I have been having some difficulty getting on the WOT and the folks at support have not been able to help me with this but I hope one of you will. When I try to open the game I get an Application error message saying : The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application. If you have any ideas on how to fix this or if one of you might have the actual file uploaded to the web so that I can just download a working one that would be great.

T57 heavy nerf?

What do you think they will nerf on the T57 heavy? I mean honestly it's got crap amor, poor speed, almost no reverse, the only real thing it has going for it is the DPM. Do you think they will nerf that, if they do it would be pointless to have the tank. It would be a less maneuverable 50B. Pointless. What do you think.
