What is the fastest way to gain Free XP excluding premium accounts? im trying to get my hummel but i dont want to grind out my Pz 3/4. Whats the best tier to use for free XP? Are scout tanks good Free XP gaining tanks? What are some ways to gain Free XP without using gold/premium accounts? Ideas would be appreciated

step one: figure out which tank gets you the highest average xp per battle.

step two: play that tank. a lot.

based on your stats: drive your 3601 and your lowe. especially if you can start improving your play in the latter.

^ that

visit your stat page, and find that tank and commence to grind it for hours. And hours.

I see you have a Lowe. 220 battles but only 82 victorys.
If I can suggest hanging back and sniping. Thats going to be your numero uno earner. Period.

Better yet, if you die, immediately start another battle in your other tanks.

The more the quicker. Any tanks are good at free EXP grinding as long as it brings in a lot of EXP per match.

I've used grounded free EXP on King Tiger's track (right after buying it),SU-85 (hurrying to get it in time for the discount), ARL 44 (same reason as SU-85) all of which are more than 10k. Keep playing and you'll reach that amount, but Tier 5 is not exactly worthy for grounded Free EXP to be used unless it's an emergency (like my SU-85 and ARL 44's case). You are better off gritting your teeth and get to work on the Pz3/4. Your Free EXP will be better used later on (IF you plan to go any farther) and you also get credits as by-product.

TIP : save Free EXP for Tier 8+ where even tracks are more than 10k EXP worth...

Running low tiers (say 1-3) for the daily bonus is a quick way, and cheap on credits to get free exp (especially during 3x or 5x events). But you wont do as good as repeated games on a higher tier tank.

I got the hummel with the grille. It is good practice, so you can start farming credits right away with the hummel. Oh, did I mention that the hummel gets a ton of credits and free exp? It will be an excellent earner for you when you get it.

Good luck.  :Smile-izmena:

It'd be much faster to just grind up the Grille for the Hummel.  You earn free xp at 5% of total xp earned each battle.  So for every 1 game's worth of xp, you need to play 20 games.  The Grille is an awesome little SPG, and is well sought after in medium tank companies.

The only other way to get free XP faster is by spending gold to convert it from elited tanks, and you've already said you don't want to do that.

Oh, easy, grind to a tier 5 light, get really good at it, elite it and play the crap out of it.

Tier 5 lights get massive experience games, they can light, damage and finish tons of tanks, especially if you live till the end and get the fat bonuses for SPG spotting and damage.

edit: and of course, the mere requirements to GET to a tier 5 light are not onerous, though you have to go through a different, miserable tier 4 light experience to earn the right to rock a Chaffee, 2801 or T-50-2

My advice: chaffee. The M5 Stuart isn't terribad, and although the T-50-2 is terrific now, it's due for a nerf. You'll damage and kill more in a Chaffee and spot nearly as much anyway, just modify your playstyle to fit the capabilities of the tank.

The VK 2801 might be the easiest to get though, depending on your research progress on the German tree. The top engine, gun and radio are all cross compatible from other vehicles mid-tier on the tree. Also, the Leopard is a right-fine tank at tier 4, not the pure scout the T-50 is compared to it, but perhaps with a more useful cannon.

I think the OP is trying to get to the Hummel from the Pz3/4 rather than the Grille.  That's what I did and it was not an enjoyable experience!  But the right answer is to suck it up and keep playing the Pz3/4 until the Hummel is unlocked.  It's way faster than using free experience and saves free experience for more important things like gun upgrades.

Read up on tips for playing the Pz3/4.  It's frustrating to play and even more so if you're trying to play it wrong.

T-50 is anything but miserable.

Considering you have a Lowe, I would recommend grinding your free XP on the Lowe. If you play it right, you can get tons of free XP on a Lowe.

i would just play the tank you want to get researched, you mentioned pz34 to the hummel, the fastest possible way to get that without free exp conversion (eg gold) is to go and just play the pz34. i did it with the t34 to get the 120 on it, i did it for the amx40 and for the various crappy tanks i played through to get amazing tanks.

I get about 1k free xp/day on premium by playing multiple doubles.

The best bet to get free "free experience" is to have at least 10 garage slots filled with tier 8-10 tanks. Why 8-10 tanks? Because higher tier tanks get a higher xp multiplier & because high tier tanks let you control the fight far better than low tier tanks.

If you are patient you can get lots of garage slots on sale for 150g to really utilize this technique.

Even without gold rounds churchill can chuck some exp~!

Also the best is grinding multiple tanks fast, D= Especially in those where you can damage a lot of tanks fast too =3

That really depends on what your best tank is. Surprisingly, it's not always the one with the highest win percentage either (though it usually is). I have had my T2 LT pull in over 1000 xp on a loss before; that is 50 free xp right there, and stupid fun in the process. Not nearly as efficient as slogging through whatever vehicle you're trying to get through, but some are so bad that it's sometimes worth going the long way. I would rather do 20 fights in a Tetrarch than 1 in an M7.

new accounts can get 2K gold for free with this promo code (may take 2-3 days):

WTSDRNMAR

You must have 0 battles to get gold.

Your Lowe, if you can actually learn to play it, will make a lot of exp.

But regardless, unlocking the Hummel is over 40k exp.  Do you want to grind out 20 times that much, or 800k on other tanks?

No?

Then drop the idea of unlocking tanks with free exp, and save it for the gun on a high-tier tanks.  Like the BL-9 on the IS-3.  Because you really don't want to play high-tier tanks with a stock gun.

You can always pick the easier path to get the tank you want.  Go through the Panzer 3/4, or go through the Grille.  Do whichever you want.

But saving up free exp by playing other tanks is a massive undertanking.  It should only be done to skip the worst grinds.  Free exp is very precious for a player without gold.  The Grille isn't that bad, it's actually the best tier 4 arty because it can actually damage things.
