Tactical Tablet

I found this great mod on the EU forum, and locastan found it on the RU forum, which he converted to English. I do not own/create anything, just sharing.
If your clan uses ATC for strats, with is an excellent addition...maybe even replacement, with the exception that it does not do group interactive strat sessions. However, the ease of access to your strats during a game is outstanding.
When you want to add text to your map, enter the text in the box on the right hand side of the gui...not the box at the bottom. Play around with it; it takes some time to get used to how it works...but in the end, this is a great feature.

Hello Tankers,
I read a request for a way to display a tactical panel, without the need for window multitasking.
So today I'd like to share my translation of Radems Tactical Tablet as modified by NACHOS on the russian forum:
Screenshot:
You can devise team tactics for certain maps and share the outcome with the members of your team by simply creating and sharing the code (copy paste).
Your team members are able to view the TT in garage by default and ingame by simply holding CTRL (ok you'll see the button in the top left corner at first, but once you click it, TT is open).
Download MOD:
http://www.mediafire...mh8g95v50gg8pwx
Some additional info on using this:
Basic usage:
You select the map you want to strategize in the first place. Use the drop down menu by clicking on the word "Map" or the two arrow buttons to its left and right to swap maps.
Add markers to the map by clicking the "Create" button next to the markers section heading. Play around a bit with settings, like color position type etc. You can also conveniently drag and drop the marker to any place on the map, adjust the view direction (rotation) and have it settle by clicking on the map. You can select if tanks are on your or the enemy team with the checkbox next to "On own team?" of course you can always change the marker later on by clicking on it on the map.
The Team Composition section is for informational purpose on your team. It will not display or count the enemy tanks.
On Mapgrid K0 there is a little brown button, when you click it, you can toggle mapgrid, viewdirections, text and markers on or off to your liking. (Only visible when loading a shared tactic!)
To share your battle tactic with your team mates, you can click on the "Create code to share" button.
You will get a string of mumbo-jumbo in the textfield below the Map. This contains all information you put on that map.
Click your curso into the field and press CTRL+A for selecting everything. The CTRL+C for copying it to clipboard. Share by pasting the code where you want (clanchat, clanforums, ICQ, Teamspeak, Skype whatever you guys normally use to communicate.)
You can save your tactics by putting the code into notepad or similar text editor.
To load a tactic from code, paste the code into the textfield below the Map and click the "Accept" button. If you have another tactic on screen by this time, you will be warned that this one is discarded. (It might be a good idea to click on the "Clear" button next to the textfield to wipe it prior to pasting code into there in case there is anything in the field that does not belong there.)
As always: Have Fun.
PS: I apologize for the seeming random order the maps are in the list, russian is a different alphabet and so they are not sorted right after translation. I plan to correct this issue, but it will take some time. I also plan on swapping the maps in this one for the HD minimaps Pettingson made, even if I have to create the missing ones myself.

not going to use as a replacement for ATC as it lacks the URL linking and ATC's point and click ability.
But it is really good for training rooms as people can reference the strat and make their own changes on the fly.
I feel if the makers can add a social ability, maybe one that all the team can reference. if you could tie it into the in game voice comm system, it could make platoons, companies and other team events WWAAAAAYYYY more tactical

Hey, sometimes, when people create a code to share, the code does not work of some other computers. IS this a glitch with the Tablet or is it the person's WoT client? And just so noone askes, yes, the whole code is posted to teamspeak and coppied correctly.
