All tier 10 stats from test server.

TheHasegawaEffect's Photo TheHasegawaEffect Mar 09 2012

I realise there are something in the region of 6 other threads I could have posted this in, but you know what, posting in one of them isn't going to grab attention.

T110 isn't massively weaker than every other TierX. It has decent enough stats to compete, fullstop.

very nice, thanks for this, any chance of a tier 9 comparison with the M103?

I see the M103 also gets the T110's gun. Nice penetration, good aiming time too (or maybe the aiming time is slightly worse on M103?).

Cheers, appreciate you putting up a complete set to compare (doesn't look like I'll be able to get on Test for at least a week).

T110 has a better power-to-weight ratio than IS-7, but a lower top speed. Although IS-7 tends to average out to about 35 kph when not going downhill.

I want to see an actual race between these two around Himmelsdorf!

That M103 is made of butter...127 front turret, 127 front hull? yikes..does it bounce anything in its tier?

The numbers are misleading.  The M103's front is primarily a gun mantlet, which should boost the turret up into and above the 260mm on frontal protection at the mantlet, while the 127mm part is basically a tiny square around the mantlet itself and then the severely sloped armor.  This gives a weak spot immediately around the mantlet, followed by yet more 250+mm armor around the sides due to how severe the sloping is.  This should, in effect, make the turret as strong as the Lowe's turret to the immediate front, with similar weak spots immediately to the sides of the mantlet that are difficult, but possible, to hit..  The way it's displayed though is the inverse of how the T29 displays turret armor.  It ignores the mantlet instead of including it.

I don't quite know where the hull sits, though, but as long as it can bounce 200 pen guns, I'm happy.

The thing is that the T110 has a traction of 1,14 on grass, while the IS-7 gets 1,81. You won't notice this too much on Himmelsdorf since it's all paved roads (T110 still wins though, it's fast), but if you were to have the race on Steppes or Prohorvka (f. ex - any non-city map really) the IS-7 wouldn't have a chance. Not kidding here, not a chance.

Upper hull bounces often enough that no one wants to shoot there (this goes for 225 and unlucky 248 guns as well), lower hull is more vulnerable and you can't rely on it. But between the speed and the gun, the M103 still eats low-tiered tanks - not like a KV-3, but like a Pershing.

Oh and the turret really does bounce a ton of shit. Including the dreaded S-70.

That for the 110 or 103?

The M103. Chill.

Thanks for the info.

Is the reduced gun depression an issue with these two? Can you still go hull-down, say, on the south rolling hills of Redshire?
Quote

Prav's Photo Prav Mar 09 2012

Not an issue, but you still notice that it's less than 10°. 8° seems to be the magic point where hills are your friend. For instance: T-43@8° vs Tiger@7° vs Panther@6°. One likes hills, one hates hills, one's ambivalent.

... vs Pz5/4@3°

the number is missleading? so M103 frontal is good? i will happy with that if their frontal is good

any info abt T110 frontal? i mean 170 should be ok, is7 or T110 better frontal? IMO IS7 got wicked frontal armor ( just drive IS7 on test server, i say IS7 wicked as IS7 enemy) LOL

hmm any news when english test server release??

PS: as M103 i think since T34 got 110k, 242 pen gun is like sky high ;) who ever just buy T34 on garage and grind with M103 will happy :)

As noted elsewhere, it appears that the way stats are going to display will change.

Not the tanks' performance.  Just the displayed stats.
