Turret revolves randomly, does not track m...

I've been having issues of late where my turret will start rotating independently of the mouse pointer.  Has anyone else seen this, and do you know how to fix it?  It's basically game-breaking when it happens.

So you're saying your turret has a mind of its own?
Well this is usually because of lag. That's the only explanation I can think up of.

Looks like a, turret self-rotating close to large objects.
dumbest bug, which can not be corrected by devs long time.
Solution: Stay away of big things. And sometimes hold right-mouse to block rotating.

sorry for my poor english.

Yep, I also experience the exact same thing. Lately I've had it happen once every 20 games or so. Have to leave the match and restart the game.

Must be a bug

This happened to me in an SPG today. I was near a large chunk of terrain, that I had backed into trying to avoid the Churchill rolling down my throat. Trying to "TD" shoot him, and my priest just starts to swivel to the left on it's own. Suffice it to say, he got me. :/

Yes this problem seems to be getting worse with every update. It happens when your under a bridge, or near buildings or billboards in Live Oaks. I had a billboard behind me and when I switched to sniper view my turret had instantly turned almost 190 degrees. I know because I instantly switched back to 3rd person view. Then i had to rotate turret all the way back around, but was killed before I could. This does make combat in congested areas very difficult, and needs to be addressed. It didn't used to be like this. I know because I have been playing this game since beta release. PLEASE DEV'S AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM! Thank You

I have this problem with live oaks in the bridge area.I lose turret control and it does what it wants and I've watched platoon mate's have the same problem. So there is definitely a problem on that map.

Twice now the bridge supports on Live Oaks have killed me this way.  It's hard to fight someone when you are forced to show them the back of your turret  for no logical reason.

Just lost an E-100 under the bridge at Live Oaks because by the time I figured out what to do it was too late.
To fix this you need to switch into sniper mode.

The turret will lock onto 'breakables' when you are in 3D view or zoomed right out, this lock onto breakables stops when you go into zoom or sniper mode. This has been posted in these forums before and the Devs replied that 3D view is meant to be like that (although this is the only FPS that I know of that behaves this way).
I have no idea why they coded the game this way, I am guessing it has something to do with the auto aim function which is why they haven't fixed it....

Btw, driving an E-100 out from under the bridge in sniper mode would have been impossible anyway...
