Greetings,

Just wanted to report a few (now three) days of bad lag.

I have followed the instructions in the other (Telstra) thread about using PingPlotter to gather data for the report, and present it below:

Local IPs have been erased as instructed.

No point mentioning my local ISP because the problem is clearly upstream and in the US.

What really irks me is the fact that when playing WoT the 'Latency' indicator is always green.  I press to turn and the tank does nothing for up to a second, and this is considered OK!?!  The game is basically unplayable and my Premium subscription is running out...

Anyway, according to game chat I am not the only one experiencing lag, so this is probably not news  - just adding another data point.

Hope you guys can work out what's going on with your NA provider.

Cheers.

Funnily enough, I have been getting the best ping I have ever had with this game in the last couple of days. I've been totally lag free for the last 4 days or so, while the chat is full of people complaining about awful ping/lag.

I am in Melbourne with iinet, and have had days of unplayable lag before, so I know what that's like.
My average is 290-310 ping with some small lag, 400+ on bad days with unplayable lag, and the last few days has been around 220-240 with no lag at all.

I think it's a routing issue, and so at least partially isp-specific. I have had the similar problems with a different game, and when the ISP report that some "sub-optimal international routing issues" had been fixed, my lag magically went away.
