15 players max for a full season? That sounds like a job. Very few reserves for something that would require about 10-12 players in a winning strategy. At least in my opinion.

EDIT: It's good that matches are on Saturdays so work is less of a conflict, but things like weddings, baby showers, parties, etc. do happen on Saturdays.

It's only one day a week. :)

If we increased the number of reserves the prizes per member would be reduced. For example, if we added 5 more reserves it would drop prizes to:

  • 1st - 70,000
  • 2nd - 39,000
  • 3rd - 20,000
  • 4th - 10,000
  • 5th-8th - 5,000

Those are still good prize amounts, and in my opinion it would be worthwhile to trade a little prize gold for a couple more reserve players. Maybe it's too late for this league, but think about it for the next one.

I don't think that would be very beneficial as filling out a 90 point team with 15 people would mean they would all be playing tier 6's. So it's very unlikely anyone will actually field a full 15 man team. More likely that they will have around 10, which would mean about 5 reserve members.

What about a limit of 18?  I agree that 15 is too few.

With it being Saturday, the most used social day of the week (birthday parties, weddings, going to the bar with friends) I can easily see a situation where 3-6 or more members of a team just can't make it. I'd much rather see at least a limit of 18 total. It's just hard to have to clear my schedule for Saturday night, for, well, we don't even know how long, since we all know things come up and then you're down 1-2 players from your set lineup and just can't realistically compete that night.

We had a reasonably successful 15 man team in the old style 90 point companies. I concur with people asking for more reserves at the expense of smaller payouts.

Alright, we'll discuss it in the morning and see about bumping max team size to 18.

This is going to take in the excess of 4 - 5 months to play and with only 15 players its going to be hard to play every single Saturday with 15 players for that long. Saturdays are not going to guarantee enough attendance. Even the suggested revised prizes for 20 player teams are still pretty good prizes.

This is an awesome idea, great work.  Funny how all the complainers are the first to post, with a 90,000 gold payout...lol

I am looking for a team that is being put together with tougher criteria to join to give a better chance of winning.

T30, IS7, BatChat, (27 other tanks in garage as well).
Gold Ammo and Consumables not a problem.
Attending Practice Tank Companies not a problem.
TeamSpeak not a problem.
Pulling 50+ FPS at 1920*1080 resolution with graphics set to very high.
50% Win Percentage 7300+ Battles

Drop me a line in game

I think 15 is a good number, and it should not be changed.
As you've already suggested most matches will have about 9-10 players so a team cap of 15 allows for 5 reserves - which is 50% of the match participants.
If you increase it to 18 almost 1/2 the team will not get to play in each battle, which seems like over-kill to me - especially since it's going to run on a weekend during prime playing time.

I also have a question in regard to the schedule and rules.
It says that each team will play each other in it's division, for a total of up to 15 matches, but does that mean that there is only 1 battle per team per Saturday for 15 weeks straight?
Or will there be multiple 15min battles against either the same team each or against different teams each day?

looking to join a team - only 8 tanks now but after 7.2 will have 9 or 10
believe myself to be quite adaptable to changing battle conditions but PREFER to stick to a good strategy at the beginning
past experience running a clan for a WWII fps game
premiums: t-127, tetrarch, t34 if 7.2 update is done before league starts
arty: only the su-26 but believe myself to be one of the best in this SPG
mediums: none - may change but looking at the american line (can repurchase m4 fully upgraded)
heavies: kv, kv-3, may have the stock IS-3 or the IS, plus m103,(t110e5, t30 if I have enough time to get) if I like em enough
tds: going to go with the hetzer if the 7.2 updated tanks don't satisfy - if they do then none

It will be one battle per Saturday as of right now. If it's changed, it would be at most two battles.
