Bro, please tell me how you like brother in arms. I can't tell if I like that skill but it sounds awesome. You have any idea what your reload is or anything? I'm guessing that your crew is really snappy in everything it does.

I really like it.  I haven't timed it, but just seat-of-the-pants feel is nice.  I'm getting more kills with her, not just scouting.

UPDATE: I just raced a friendly Batchat up the hill on Malinovka and he smoked me.  He was cresting over as I was reaching the peak.  He disconnected before I got a chance to find out what modules and skills he had.

Think about what you HAVE to have and what you'd LIKE to have.

BIA = +% to other skills so as someone said like Vents and BIA is buffed by Vents.

Now if you are busted, you are exposed to a potential busted until you die scenario with all shooting at the lame duck. So I rate repairs as an early must have. Once again repairs are buffed by BIA unless I'm mistaken.

So with two skills / perks you should have very quick repair times allowing you out of the danger faster.

I have Rammer, Vert Stab and Vents. + BIA and repairs on all crew thus far.

Next for me will be:

Commander = Sixth Sense
Gunner = Dead Eye
Driver = Clutch Braking
Loader = Adrenaline Rush

So I added skills,

Commander - Jack of all Trades, Recon, Repair
Gunner- snapshot, repair, camo
Driver - smooth ride, repair, camo
loader - safe storage, camo , repair

My rationale here is that the worse trait about the T-54 is the horrific aim time that is a general trait of the Soviet line, hence snapshot and smooth ride - as ammo rack issues are also a constant nuiscance, safe storage. Jack of all trades seems like the natural choice for the commander of ANY vehicle really, and since I use the T-54 as an aggressive "power scout" most of the time, recon seemed useful.

I thought about the camo vs repair issue (my second skills are all 100% obviously, so the third skills are only operating at about 80%), I decided that  repair should generally be a priority, as once you are seen you are seen... but once you are tracked or lose your gun, getting them fixed ASAP is more important.

If I was starting off with a new crew, I'd probably go JOAT for Commander and REPAIR first for all the rest.

For equipment I use my typical high tier medium set up of Rammer/Vert Stab/Coated optics.

I have Rammer, Vert Stab and Vents + Brothers in Arms (100%) and Repairs (almost to 100%). Next:

Commander - cammo
Driver - Snapshot (7.5% increase) - faster aiming always helps.
Gunner - clutch breaking (5% increase) - so I can circle around heavies faster than their turret rotation.  I put this on my Lowe to try it out and I swear I noticed the difference.
loader/Radio - cammo

With only two crew trained in cammo, the effect will only be 50% of what it would normally be, but I think it's still worth it especially since it depends on the tank's inherent cammo which I understand is good for the T-54?

I'm staying away from the view range skills for the T-54 - they do so little improvement (i think 2% for one skill and 3% for the other, so combined they will only give you about 20 extra meters) that they are almost pointless, unless you are sniping with an accurate gun (like the Lowe - 0.29) near maximum view range (500m) so that you see your enemy and he doesn't see you, which is likely not the case with the T-54.  But I guess, if your primary role in battle is to scout, perhaps its helpful to have the extra 20m.

Equipment - I heard this tank gets ammo-racked a lot? so I'm thinking WAR, rammer, and third one - vent (if you pick BIA as first or second skill).
Crew training - repair, and BIA. I'm convinced by the other dude that BIA improves all skills including repair. So I'm going with BIA first, carry a repair kit for critical situations in pub matches, and train my crew on repair as secondary. I'd like to see what this can do once I put in oil and remove speed governor...

Just remember some skills only become effective at 100% to do not train Brothers in Arms unless you can finish it with the saved xp at conversion. This skill will be a pain on later tanks.

Because the t-54 is tracked so readily, I have choosen to crew train everyone with repairs (they are about 65% now)
seems to be pretty quick . will heep you posted when at 100%
I am running coated optics and MK I stabilizer, slot 3 is still open ...Maybe enhansed suspension or possibly rammer
or layed gun drive as aim time is crappy slow
Really wish I knew then what I know now about this tank!
I wouldnt have bought it at all ! !

I've installed removed speed governor and it makes a big difference.  I have yet to get engine damage from using it either, but I only use it when I need it.
