I'm adding this mod asap. 99% of what chat is used for is bunk. The 1% that isn't rarely has an effect on battles anyway. And... if I'm on a losing side of a battle, so be it. It's a dang game people. Not life and death. The amount of people who get killed and then hang around for 10 minutes complaining about the way others play astounds me. (If you were all that great, you wouldn't be dead after two minutes.) Yes, I know I should have selective memory, but sometimes it's hard to ignore the chatter coming from dead Rommels. Basically, they have the attitude that "if I'm dead, everyone else on my team should be, too". Like most people I've had jerks grill me for attacking, I've had them insult me for retreating, I've had them cuss me for protecting base, I've had them whine at me for not protecting base. The scenarios are never ending. I'm not perfect, but no one else is, either. When I see the guy with a 100% winning percentage, ten kills per game, and a 100% survival rate, I'll kiss his hinder in public.

WOT could easily solve this problem by making chat optional.  I know many, many players have asked for that. I wonder if it will ever happen.

Frequently, the vast majority of messages in chat are immature, crude, abusive, offensive, abrasive, etc...  It is this "unrefined personality" that tends to be most vociferous in chat.  Seldom ever will you see a message that actually contributes constructively to the outcome of the battle, win or lose.  For many, the chat window serves as nothing more than a device to lash out and abuse others - behind the security and anonymity of the internet - in ways they would otherwise never think of daring if the person was standing in front of them.  No one needs that crap, frankly.  Moreover, anyone with any sense can figure out what's happening in the battle by looking at the map, and taking note of the kill messages.  It's not rocket science...

Thanks now I can play without the 600 efficiency idiots telling me how to play even though they are dead in 2minutes. Ah sweet relief no more mouth breathers.
