Malinovka - Pz38H735f

Hi everyone, I saw a thread recently about someone complaining the Pz38H735f was unbalanced and very difficult to kill. I took it upon myself to video why he is right and demonstrate how the tank alone is quite invincible.

Also, the cheap cost of gold ammo for it makes it into a quick-win machine.

It is powerfull granted, bouncy armor, but invincible??  Not by a long shot... I WISH it was, but anyone knowing where to shoot you can and will take you out...

Now, I DO agree the Gold rounds are very cheap on this thing... hence the reason I carry about 20 rounds myself, then again, I use those on enemy Pz 38H's I run across...

Maybe I'm exaggerating that it's invincible but the amount of deflections in the video just didn't seem right

yeah i have one and on top of tetrarch and other Pz38H735f's using gold you have some big weak spots and if your two crew are killed(from the weak spots)your done it's only OP cause new low lvl players don't know how to deal with it further more in the last patch they seemed to fix it raising the max battle tier to 3 putting you up against tier 2 TD's and artys that can both one shot you as well as any tier 3 can pen it and it's VERY slow it also still has the MM weight of a maus almost(400 when the T1 for comparison is like 10 heck my type i think my type 59 is lower) meaning even in a tier 5 match it would be the top tank against many powerful tanks as it sits you only get into the old battle of tier 2's in 1 out of 3 matches and the tank isn't worth driving

it bounces a lot of shots yes but i do die in mine a lot on the other hand i did get 13 kills with it in one round

The Hotchkiss is kind of OP even without gold shells, why would gold shells even be needed?

I don't think it is even close to invincible, tough yes bit no more than a H35 Hotchkiss which is what it really is. It is just a captured one. It has tough armor like most lower tier french tanks, but it is so slow a AMX 38 can run circles around it and don't even think of knocking down a tree or wall unless you hit them at full speed. Gold ammo does help it, but so would it every tier 1 or 2 tank. I have played mine for month's and I found if not played right you will get killed too. Really it isn't any different than a KV in tier 5, everyone think they are unkillable, you just have to look where you shoot not just bang away. I call mine a mini Maus because it is tough.

So my answer is Really??

ok i watch the video.all tanks will bounce shots off their front armor.the other players did not move to shot you in the sides or the rear.instead of gold rounds HE works pretty good against the hotchkiss.shot the drivers hatch and commanders hatch kills them and since that is the entire crew then tank is dead.

When I was riding my MS1, I took a particular dislike to the Pz38H.  If there was one on the enemy side, I made it my business to take him on.  Sometimes he got me.  But I got him more times than he got me.  I leanred where to target and, yes, I used Gold ammo.  But the Hotchkiss is not invincible.  I prefer to think of it as a great adversary.  I always look forward to the challenge.

I know people are saying "they can move in and circle around you", they could but from what I've seen even the side armor is quite thick. Also, them coming at me would of made it easier to kill them because I was shooting them from a distance throughout the video.

The tank is too heavily armored imo

If the DEV's nered every tank just because a player or players don't how to attack a certain tank that would be simply outrageous on their part! It's not an invisible tank at all and can be taken out if you just have to know where to hit it, end of story! Secondly, if the DEV's who say they are trying to make this game more realistic duplicating the intended or actual performance why would they nerf it, just to please anyone at all??? Example, the LOWE it's specs far succeed the now nerfed current version, it was simply nerfed just to please the whiners who cried it was to powerful!?! This violates the DEV's own standards, who claims that they are trying to be realistic to the original intend or design! In retro spec the purchaser is the one real loser who forced a have product that was deliberately made defective to satisfy whiners!!!
