When stock, It is more or less a fully upgraded M5, so, get the New Suspension and engine ASAP. Than, get the 75mm AT Gun M3 L37. Get the new turret next, than you can get either the 75mm AT Gun M7 L/50 or the one I recommend the 57mm. When you have this gun, you get a extremely high RoF, Pen and mobility, you can just go around blasting stuff at 22 RPM, Overall, this is a excellent tank.

You should have 57mm and engines research from T82 anyways.

It has the same calibre but its a US version of 57mm............probably.Also Maus123 said it can fire 22RPM but the T-34s 57mm fires at 30 RPM

The Soviet 57mm guns are superior to the US/British 57mm guns in every single stat (when comparing tank-to-tank, TD-to-TD). The US 57mm has been getting its RoF nerfed bit by bit over time as well, I don't get it.

The Soviet 57mm gets 0.3 accuracy (7.1 stats). I am incredibly jealous of this excellent accuracy. :Smile-izmena:

Because Soviet copies and improves, apparently. I mean I search the internet for ballistic of both QF6pdr and ZiS4 I honestly see no difference.

The 57mm Zis-2 L/73 has a muzzle velocity of 1000 m/s, while the 57mm 6-pounder has a muzzle velocity of 884 m/s (in the L/50 form), with both guns firing shells of nearly equal mass. Therefore, the Zis-2 is supposed to be a superior gun IRL.

22RPM!? That's slower than the T82 and it gets the same exact gun.

Huh?

Sorry, but there's quite a difference between the ballistics of the Zis-2 (AKA Zis-4 on the T-34) and the 6-pounder.

990 m/s UBR-271K vs 850 m/s AP M70 (US) or 890 m/s Shot, AP (British). Besides, this is a game, not real life. I won't argue that the US/British 57mm should be as good or better than its Soviet counterpart. I would argue instead that the accuracy gap should be a little closer regardless of real life, you have to consider US/Brit tanks have to make do with 57mm guns all the way up to tier V (so do some soviet tanks, but their 57mm is already quite good).

Of course, don't even worry about what I say. Developers will never buff a US gun anyways.

No, it's faster than the T82 by 0.01 second, he probably didn't have rammer installed.

Take a look at this:

http://www.wwiivehic...m/ussr/guns.asp

Penetration is pretty much the same. Sure ZiS-2 goes faster, but there is nothing support it being 20% more accurate.

:facepalmic:

I'm sorry, but increased muzzle velocity factors into increased accuracy.
The Zis-2 was quite a different gun than the 6-pounder, other than the fact that their calibers were basically the same. The standard AP shells of the Zis-2 were prone to shattering at such high velocity, so they had limited penetration. Hence the reason why the soviets almost always used APCR for the Zis-2. Also, the Zis-2 had a maximum range of 8400 yards, while the 6-pounder had a maximum range of 5000 yards. I consider that to be quite different ballistic performance.

Sure increased muzzle velocity would increase accuracy, but 20% at 100m? ZiS 2 hit targets at 100m just a hundredth of a second before 6pdr, and tank ain't moving fast enough for that to make a difference.

The 6-pounder probably needs a bit of an accuracy buff, then... possibly to 0.32 or 0.33 or something of that sort. I would agree with that. Still, though- the high muzzle velocities of both guns make a difference of even hundredths of a second actually count.

No, but 57mm on T82 would.

first impression once you get the 75mm its a total murder machine if your put in your correct tiered matches don't be surprised to be in matches with tanks up to tier 8 but once you can get behind them you can shoot there engine bays and still do damage.

The 57mm gun on this guy has a serious problem it fires faster than it aims. For some reason this is not a problem on my T82, but it is on the M8A1. This makes long-range battles with this guy very tough.
