this is just a thread discussing about what if Tank A uses Tank B's parts and stuffs and a speculation of how will it perform on the field.
first discussion topic would be:
what if the T-35 heavy tank used the IS-3's V-2-54IS 700hp engine and the transmission systems and with added 30mm applique armor
feel free to post in other tank what ifs in this thread to discuss

/what if the A 20 used the T 50s susension so it could actually turn. Or if the KV 1s got the 152. Or if you really want distruction the IS with the objects 261s gun but after three shots it tears the turret off and you become a scout with no firepower but improved view range and acceleration.

It would tear itself apart due to combined awesomeness and overburdening the suspension. If you could put an IS-3 style suspension on it, it would be ok.
However, it would be worse than an IS-3, since it would fit a smaller gun. Still OP for the equivalent of a tier 5-6 though

What if the AMX 40 got the Maus's engine, in an external cart?
Or, if the StuG got the long 88? Same with the Jagdpz. IV.

If this continues, it's going to be a forum game. Then it's probably relocated to the Off-Topic section.
What if T-50-2 was equipped with the 107mm, has T29 turret, and Maus engine? Arty pwnage :3

What if the T29's 2nd turret and KV's 152mm was placed on the H3llcat. Take a shot and either completely tear itself apart of be thrown clear across the map. Hmm interesting way to break that 72km/h speed limit. Turn your turret around facing away from enemy cap and fire, launching your tank right into the middle of all of the enemy tanks, land amongst them doing ya best Kamakazi/Scout Nuclear bomb impression.

What if the 155 mm gun on the T30 was fitted with a 10 round auto-loader and equipped on the Maus, which had a 10,000 Hp engine?

what if an MS-1 using the Ratte's dual submarine engines? *naughty me~*
T-35 with torsion suspension... could be feasible but needs to have big road wheels. me thinks stronger tracks and a stable speed and a reliable clutch disc would be nice

AMX 40 will have to resize it's hull as big as the maus and will remain the armor thickness of the 40. could be fast but clumsy.
StuG 3 with a long 88 would cause the TD to tip forward due to the weight of the gun. and suspension might fail

Yeah, that would be a hilarious tank IRL. Complete waste of time, but what else do you have to do in northern Siberia?

It probably could fit a 122 infantry howitzer, if they modded the turret and made it a bit bigger. For instance, the Firefly could fit the QF 17lb by using a gimped charge, despite the turret ring not being designed for it. Good luck getting a 152 in there.
