I'd just like to know how I can remove the faction logos on tanks, due to some of my skins overlapping with the original logos, which doesn't look really nice. I know that you used to replaced the graffiti dds file in the res/gui directory, but now its not there.

You need to make a gui/maps/vehicles/decals directory in res_mods/7.1.1 then place the transparent graffiti file in there.
