I recently shot an IS-4 with my IS-4 in the gunners slit... zero damage crit.... but wait? I lit him on fire?
So I hit his tank, and penetrated him... enough to hit a vital component... Good.... but no damage, apart from the fire that followed? really?
fast forward to 9:35 to see that ridiculousness...

Zero damage crits are the one thing that will make me ragequit WoT eventually, I just know it.
I especially "enjoy" when I send a 120, 130, or 152mm shell into an AMX 75 or 90 and it just speeds along like nothing happened while my crew excitedly tells me "Critical Hit!"

His engine or his fuel tanks absorbed all the damage and broke(or something else was hit in addition, absorbing further damage. Have seen plenty of double crits); the system can be, in the politest of terms be described as silly.

If i penned him in the lower half of glacis... that would make sense as I would have hit the transmission located in the front of the tank. As I did not.... that means the game calculated that the shell traveled the entire length of his tank into his engine block / gas tank, and did NO damage, but ignited his tank.

Also, iirc the IS-4 doesn't have the frontal transmission problem germans do, I've been ammo-racked through that drivers slit, been double tracked by an AP shell from a tank and had a single arty shell be oddly specific in targeting my gun, gunner and two loaders(after sniping some tanks in a gun that already wasn't too accurate to begin with.
Alot of this games mechanics are based on luck factors.

This has happened to me before in my T34, Shot the driver's slot on an IS-4, did no damage but lit him on fire.

modules or crews absorb all damage, bla bla bla...
But one thing,
How the module being damaged but no damage to the tank???
This is totally BS.
Modules are inside the tank, you know???

I think I set a record last week on critical hits.
I've gotten 7 crit hits on a tank in a row without hitting the tracks once.
I'm almost making a game out of this in itself.

I think that somehow people have actually damaged and critically shot me in one shot before.
Or maybe I was being shot by more than one tanker

If somebody actually videos a Mouse or similar doing a 0 damage crit to a loltraktor and sends it viral they may do somthing then, but I still doubt it.
