There are already enough arty in higher tier games, if it were any easier to get, there'd be far too many. Less arty is better because the average person has no idea how to play it anyway.

thats a valid point, but still
I think it can go both ways. Sure, it seems to take much longer to grind artillery, if for no other reason than you're not on the front lines, and thus stay in a larger percentage of your battles for extended periods of time. But I agree that if the cost were lessened, it would cause an imbalance. It's the same reason that higher-tier heavy tanks make awful credit income and tier Vs make good income, comparatively: if high-tier tanks kept making consistently more money, then nobody would play the mid-tier tanks. I think it should be kept as is.

I think we have too many arty in the high teir matches. Maybe way later in development if they even do because right now they have a lot of other things they need to add first to the game.
Also I feel your pain with the huge amount of xp required for the mid teirs, I think they should lower it just a little bit.

I think the XP cost for the arti is about fair, because you are going to get dragged up in tier fights more often as a tier 4/5/6 arti, that you're going to need the practice to get the skill to keep up with the MM weight your arti carries.

Arty researching values definitely do not need to go down. These high numbers make it to where YOU as a person actually gain experience playing arty as well, which helps train noobs and transform them into competent players. The LAST thing we need is more retards with huge guns. They can still get them if they bang their head against the wall enough (for instance, I looked up an E-type from a game yesterday and saw that it took him 700 games to unlock his E-type >.<), but maybe they'll accidentally give themselves a stroke in the process.

Exactly right dude, +1. Arty players need more experience playing each arty to become halfway decent at least, you'd hope anyway. I don't blame people if they free exp a bit of the long tier 8 grind (I used a little), however free experiencing an entire tier 6-7 arty shouldn't normally be done imo. Getting experience on tiers 6-7 is what will help you be a good tier 8 arty player.
