I like my T14....BUT...

Poll: Which would be better? (18 )

Buff T14 modules to similar Tier 5 tanks, but not to OP levels?

  2. Hell no, Tier 7's are the issue. (9 [50.00%])

Lowering MM to remove Tier 7 tanks is best?

  2. No way, KV's will still be there to one/two-shot everything. (2 [11.11%])

I posted this in another thread, but I felt it belonged in its own, so here you go:

I like my T14, but MM toasts it nearly every time. I either get on the team with more low-level tanks or the team with the left-overs from the queue, while the other team gets all the platoons, more heavy's, higher level arty, and so on. Out of most of my games anyway. This isn't whining, it's just what it is. So facing T7's has never been my problem, as I have t7's on my team too, its the horrible imbalanced MM I end up in.

That being said, the T14 modules are way underbudgeted for their designated tier. I don't know about other premiums, but the stats do not match the levels.

The suspension (tier 6, 49.8 limit, 20 traverse, 14,800kg) is worse than the T1's starter tracks (tier 4, 57.8 limit, 20 traverse, 10,600kg), and the T1's upgraded tracks (tier 5, 61.5 limit,25 traverse, 10,600 kg) and the M6's starter tracks as comparison of tier 6 tracks (61 limit, 25 traverse, 15,000 kg)

The gun is the same as the lee's, except it has all the low-end rof and accuracy (18.02 rof, 0.4 acc), making it worse than the Tier 4 gun. If it where truly tier 5 stock equivalent, the T14 would have at least the M7l/50. It has lower rof, 0.2 slower aim, and same accuracy, but higher pen.

The engine is rated at Tier 7, but its no better than a tier 5 (720hp, 20%fire, 556; 20 more horsepower than the G200 M795C9GC1) and an american heavy Tier 7 engine has 960 horsepower (wright g200 M781C9GC1).

The turret is mysteriously too light for it's armor values (101mm, 5020kg), but has worse traverse (30) than the T1's tier 4 turret (102/83/83, 34 traverse, 7020kg), and worse sight range (380) than the Sherman, which is the same design and (oddly enough) almost the same weight (63mm, 42 traverse, 420 view, 5000kg)

It's too powerful to be a tier 4 tank, but too weak to be a tier 5 heavy. What is it?

They should either adjust the modules to the appropriate levels (if its really tier 5 engine say so), or buff the modules to match the tiers they supposedly belong in.

I think this would help with the T14 win/loss issues than say, taking out tier 7's.

They are lowering the MM value of the T14 in the next patch.

And is that really going to affect anything?  The T14 struggles in its own tier.

Only against the KV, otherwise it holds its own quite well

Hard to say, outgunned in almost every t5 situation, ( even by the hez and t28, tier 4's) is entirely dependent on the drivers of the opposing tanks, and not always the tank they are driving. I do ok, but it depends on a mirad of variables in every situation.  Penetration of the hull is possible by the marder, a t3. The lee and t-28 will pen, and are tier 4's, and even the pziii can get a lucky shot on you.

T14's will still face kv-2's after the MM change.
