Just as in topic title.  I am looking for a mod that shows the damage done every time I hit another tank.  I have been unable to find one that works with the current version of the game, much less the soon to come out 7.2

Do a search on OTM on these forums.  You should be able to find a link there to the download.  Good luck!

EDIT:  Hopefully someone can come along and provide you a more direct link.

Like I said, a mod that works.  Mod doesn't work.

Are you implementing it correctly?

Take the files from the MOD zip and put them into Games/worldoftanks/res_mods/0.7.1.1/gui/flash/ folder (you will have to create the gui/flash folders).  Restart the game for them to be applied.

edit: corrected filepath  -->thanks to Lert!

Then you're installing it wrong. I'm using overtargetmarkers right now and it works fine.

I was exactly following the pinned thread for how to install mods in 7.1.1 - http://forum.worldof...d-beyond/.  Are you telling me that the game developers don't even know how to setup mods properly?

I will try your method, then will complain heartily in the other thread about them not giving proper directions.

I'm installing as per the thread for OTM and the 7.1.1 mod install instructions.  It is not working.

thanks anyway.  Can't believe how convoluted it is to see how much damage you are doing per shot.  That is something that should be included in the base game, not something that takes tinkering of files to do.  I am disappointed.

**edit**

(unless someone knows a way to get this working, I'll have to assume I'll never be able to see what damage I am doing to other tanks as a hard number)

So it seems that:

1.  following the pinned thread in this forum for installing mods in 7.1.1 isn't helpful as the instructions in that thread do not work.

2.  Following the instructions in the OTM thread does not work as it is based on the aforementioned 7.1.1 mod thread.

3.  Using the JSME and following the instructions for it's use from the WoT EU forum does not work.

Very helpful post, lemme tell you.

If I am installing it wrong, then please tell me how to install it right.  I have followed 3 methods so far for getting it installed in 7.1.1.  None of the 3 methods work.  If you know of another way, then please inform me.

Ok, now that you're actually asking for help where to install it, instead of asking for mods that work (This one works just fine, so my answer was accurate), here's where I installed it:

Note the folder structure. Recreate it.

(My mod folder also includes a reload timer, your file list for OTM may be different from the files listed in my screenshot)

By saturday 7.2 should be out and it has built-in official OTM so you won't have to do anything but set it up in the game settings as desired.

Just got done downloading the update and noticed this!  WOOHOOO!!!!!

As for the camping, it was great.  Though I don't think I should let a 4 year old handled a video camera again.
