Testing the updated weapons sounds with the hit sounds installed alongside it. So far no issues. The sounds do sound softer so far, but I still have a few more games to play with it before I'm concrete on anything.

During testing I have noticed that there are some sounds missing from the "hits" current beta test. Its not too often, but once and awhile there'll be a hit with positively no sound. Usually, at least from what I've seen so far, it'll be off the back of my T14 Heavy. The weapons, meanwhile, are far better right now. No missing sounds have been noticed JUST yet, and the sounds are much less "crunchy". Good job so far. Only thing I can add is I don't really "hear" the rounds clinging from my own tank in or out of sniper mode. When I do, its usually fairly quiet. That might just be my opinion on it, though.

Great! I've recived lots of positive feedback after 2.0c!

It would be nice if you could PM me a video about the issue with the gun sounds.

I will see if I can find another wait-free download site to fix your issue.;)

Also, to everyone having FH2 installed on your PC, could you please PM me a video where you are driving the Panther, Tiger and PzKpfw IV and/or PzKpfw III? You need to follow the following requirements:

-The tank have to stay idle for a 1min interval. Don't move,

-After the 1 min interval, you have to drive the tank at different speeds in a period of 5min (doesn't matter where, but you HAVE to reach the top speed for atleast 10sec).

-After the 5min period you'll have to go idle for a yet another 1min interval, this time you'll have to turn your cannon.

-After that, make someone else drive the tank, let them stay idle for 1min, then let them drive away from you until you can't hear the tank. Once unbearable, make them return all the way, until they are about as close as they initially were.

I will put you in the credits for being nice and helpful if you can do so.

You will also be granted to test sounds of vehicles etc. !

Testing the 3D sounds amoung other things, I see. I think I have a friend that has a panzer III, and I have a panzer IV. If I find some free time today I'll see if I can do this.

Here is your video, good sir. Using your hit sounds, weapon sounds, and a few other things.

Can I ask what GUI mod that is?

To stay on topic, these sounds are what I've been looking for. Something that makes my T95's 155mm sound something like an actual gun that goes BOOM.

I'm about to release the vehicle sounds! Just give me some time finishing the light tanks!  :)

The hit sounds have to wait. I think they are haunted! Each time when I had almost finished them, FMOD designer crashed!  :o

So I've wasted like 6 hours thanks to that!

Good to hear! I'll post test recordings of the lights and heavies sooner than later once they're released so you can get a good demo! :3

AND JUST MASH THE SAVE KEY WITH THE HIT SOUNDS DB

By the way, any other changes to the engine sounds we can expect as a result of testing? My only current suggestion is making the engine sounds louder, as the tracks overpower them a bit.

I'm trying my best to make them louder.

And some of the changes are:

-Removing(hopefully) of throttling for heavies.
-Tweaked the pitch of the engine for heavies when driving at high speeds.
-Other minor tweaking.

And it's going to be tougher to make sounds for the lights than I expected.
The Stuart_load(which is what I'm going to use for moving light tanks) have to be edited in Audacity to prevent some sort of throttling noise, but that's hard! It's just 1.5 sec long and the transition between the start and end is extremely noticable! :(

Just poke nobleplatoon. I know he found a way around the throttling issue with lights! :D
