nope. thats actually how the game handles it, it breaks the guns down into 3 catagories (small, medium, and large).

From the videos, this mod looks fantastic. I'll be downloading it later today to try it out.

Alright, I played back a few replays. I think the heavies still need to be a bit louder, but the lights and mediums, while needing a little volume boost as well, are much better.
Tanks tested: T1 Cunningham, T2 Light Tank, T14 Heavy (it uses medium sounds, oddly), VK4502 Aufs A

That's infact a common problem with engine sound mods. Even NoblePlatoon is experiencing it!

V3.1 is out with an optional vehicle sound and some tweaks!  :Smile-izmena:

lol. and thanks gnome, i always wondered why it did that... kinda sucks that the crew voices are skitchy at best now (not like i missed em to begin with :P)

Hey gnome just tested 3.2, gotta say lovin the fact that you can't hear the engine sounds right before the battle starts. Also can you make the tracers howl and hum through the air other then that only minor tweaks i can see needing to be done are making the engines "burp" when you punch the throttle or backfire when you decelerate suddenly like they would in real life. Anyways about to test out 3.2B so i'll let you know of any improvements needed to be done with that. anyways great job so far gnome, superb work man.  :Smile_honoring:

Actually the high tier tanks are making some sort of a "burp", but It's quite difficult to notice it.

I will make it optional to chose between Panther and Tiger sound for heavies, just like I did with the Sherman and the PzIV. :)

Tomorrow I will upload music! It will be at 662mb, but It isn't finished yet. I just need to figure out how to fade out the loading music when the battle starts, and how to make more than 1 song being played during battle. :)

But the tracers is going to be hard. I want to make them howl, but that will cause the same issue that I had at v2.0. :(
I also have to make it very similar to the FH2 sounds, if not I have to rename the mod to something else. :P

I will keep up with the mod, but it didn't get the popularity I hoped for.

There's no competition for me. I enjoyed using some of the popular sound mods, but I notice the creators get much more attention than me, even if the mod is new or if the poster did not create the mod! :blink:

I also noticed that it gets buried pretty quick on both forums.

Forgotten Hope 2 seems to be an unknown word among World of Tanks players.

I might discontinue my work on it, though. If it got a little bit more popular I will change my mind entirely.

Right now it looks quite dark as there are just 40-50 people using it. :(



Using FMOD is not hard at all. Look for some tutorials on the forums!
