I think its a good "all arounder"

It's got its strengths, but also has some glaring weaknesses.

To me it reminds me of the KV5.

I took one on head on yesterday for the first time in my Patton.  (Not something a Patton driver normally wants, but my Team lemming rushed other flank, I was left with the task to at least try to slow down advance on that opposite flank.)

I put 2 shots into its lower glacius at 100m and 50m (Est) for about +/-800hp as it was advancing towards me.

I then got overrun from the rear by a IS7 and 50B as i was the only one supporting that flank...but I sure didn't think it was OP.

Matter of fact, I think I would have out dueled it if i wasn't surrounded.  I hit him 1st, he then missed, i hit him again while back pedaling drawing him to me intentionally.  He would have hit me the 2nd time, but then i would have already put him down 1200 with my 3rd shot with approx. 1000 to go on him, and me at 1400ish?

I was planning on then using my FWD acceleration to get around him to the rear to test his turret traverse and for my 4th shot up his ***.
There was nice cover behind him I was planning on dipping behind as well after hitting him with #4.

For a Tier 9 medium to hold its own taking on a charging Tier 10 Heavy?  I would say that's not OP.  I don't think i would have penned both shots if that were an IS7.  Hard to say of course....but from what i've seen its a "Good" tank, not OP by any means.

I mean for god sakes, its a Tier10 heavy, it should be powerful!

It's a great tank, but it certainly has more up front weak spots then others. That ensures balance. Currently I love mine to bits. Don't want to play ANY other tanks. And to think I was bitching about it while playing it on the test server.

I fail.

It hasn't felt OP to me yet. Low top speed for a tank that is presumably competing with an IS-7 in terms of role, ammo rack damaged almost every game, people put rounds through your tumor with alarming frequency, and you have an enormous weak spot on the lower glacis that any tank tier VII and up can penetrate.

So you'd think to hull down to protect that spot but then you have the tumor weakness and your gun depression is not all that it could be...

All you people who are worried about a nerf to T110 can relax.  I have decided to take one for the team and personally drive down the win rate of T110 just by playing mine... :Smile_honoring:

But the pic showed just one shot penetrated, the two on each side looks like bounces.  Maybe they bounced straight down into upper deck armor for damage, but it's not penetration on the mantel.

Actually this was my third match in a row with it being penetrated. First match it got penetrated 4 times by a maus. Second match it was is7 and a t34. Screenshot match it was the t110 the 2 bounce was from a kv3. It wasnt a richochet either. I didnt take a pic of the other 2 but this was the only 1 below the gun. The other 2 matches were to the left and right of the gun.

the tank is fine the way it is , infact it needs to reverse @ 18-20 and go about 40-42 km

I like the T110, sold the M103 after 5 or so games. This tank is very good and can go head to head with other T10 tanks if needed, it's not as soft as ppl make it out to be and have more sucess in the T110 than the T30. In this tank I've held off 3-4 tanks at a time easy not like the T30 where you are over run because of reload time, and I do drive this like the Patton (alot of wriggling) in combat to stop shells hitting my weak spots. I find it funny unlike the T30 when french tanks (Bat chat ) come up to you to unload and bounce a few shots only for you to kill them as they run away because that Easy kill is no longer there.

I give this tank a 8.5 out of 10

And to all those who -1 when I said this tank will be fine Cream Pie in your face!!!

I think the balance is more than ensured from its weak side armour. As for the test server, they really need to disable gold ammo. Makes for inaccurate testing for the most commonly played game mode.

I think I was in that match.  Was it Murovanka?

I was in my T30 on the other side.  The IS-7 died to a T110 and just started bitching about how OP the T110 was and would post in the forum to have it nerfed.  We all made fun of him, including guys on his team.

If it's not this game, then it might be the same guy, but a different game.

no it was the map mines, and it probably was the same guy :Smile_great:

btw we still won the match but i just found it funny that someone driving a IS7(of all tanks to complain in) was crying about it

It's only "OP" from the front. Engage any other direction and you can take a T110E5 on no problem. It's just a good tank, for once.

no way dude.

the T110E is less scary than any other tier 10 tank.
The lower hull, although a small target can raliably be penetrated by any tier 9 med and therefore also heavy gun. Maus although its weakspots up fornt are easy to hit, still has plenty of armor to bounce tier 9 guns and if the maus is properly angled you wont get trough either way. Well and with my Tier9s i wont even try the frontal armor of an Is7 because in my books thats just waste of ammo. The E100s lower hull plate can be penetrate also if angled although not reliably, but you have to be quick since you dont want the E100s to shoot back at you.

Second reason is that the T110Es gun is not that scary alphadamage whise. So i am not that much worried about catching a shell out of its gun while i aim at it to return the favour. Whereas in case of the E100 or IS7 or even the Maus i siriously dont want those to point their gun in my direction for longer than a second.

However i will admit that all i said so far is under the assumption that we are talking about a ragular peek a boo scenario. Once the T110E gains the upper hand on the scenario and rushes in or manages to outflank you, thats the point where its epic ROF and mobility comes into play and things get ugly. In capable hands a very devastating tank. In my opinon at the moment the way to go for public matches.

As of now the T110E has proven to be a nice target for me, also due to the fact that most of T110E drivers are used to get away with anything and tend to play stupid not expecting much of resistance. This is where i like to prove em wrong.

All new released tanks are op. so people use $ to get the new tanks then they get nerfed to avarage. Since majority of money comes from Russia, ussr tanks are a bit better.

I was going to open up with some kind of  " window licker " joke, but I don't really need to, your post makes it redundant

Remember guys if a player cant kill a tank that is always because the tank is OP, and nothing at all to do with the fact they more then likely SUCK :)

OP and American tank dont even belong in the same sentence :)

Truth is we finally got a well balanced tank that put us in the same playground as the IS-7 thats all now they dont like it :)

The T110 is OP ??  Well... Maybe this tank have better chances to be good as a T10 tank, but IMO in a 1vs1 fight with a IS-7, I'm pretty shure the IS-7 will win easilly. T110 is not a bad tank, maybe an "okay" but no way an OP tank, IMO.
