Well it's been awhile since the patch and I hoped that the unbalance with IS7 and maus would be HOPEFULLY be fixed but now its worse for a rolling fortress the maus should have much moar armor than any other tank MUCH more look at it 160mm rear armor u think that such a big tank should have at least the proper 200+ armor all round it's only fair oh yeah and did I mention that IS7 should have less health????

I wouldn't mind, in the span of 10 years I think the germans would of modified the maus from it's original plans at least a touch.

Meh, just get the 75mm Coax working on the thing and it should be juuust fine.
That 75mm isn't there just for show you know.. Most of the barrel is in fact inside the turret so it qualifies as the 75mm/L70 which is veery deadly partner for the 128mm. Perfect treader / medium / light tank killer.

how about the intended 140-170MM gun and the coax 75 but then the russian players will scream OP ... well mostly because it will be OP, just like the german players scream it right now about the T44 is4 and IS7 mostly because it is

Your best bet would be to gut out its interior, put a padlock on the hatch and rent it out as a safe.

Given how slow it is, and the effectiveness of HE, I don't see why they make the armor what it was actually supposed to have IRL.

Why is maus even in the game except as a novelty toy?

150mm mate, not 140-170

the maus was intended to have a 150mm gun from the start but the slow development progressended up gaving it a 128mm (for now-

A quick comparison between:
130mm S-70
RoF:	5/min
Avg Pen: 260 mm
Avg Dam: 490
Accuracy: 0,35 m
Aim Time: 3 sec
and
12,8cm KwK44 L/55
RoF:	4,62/min
Avg Pen: 246 mm
Avg Dam: 470
Accuracy: 0,35 m
Aim Time: 2,5 sec
Oh, look the S-70 is actually better. Well, sucks to be in a house-sized target.

0.5sec longer aimimg is bad, but yeah the S-70 is a little bit better.

I am certain that you will be very glad that your ammunition is cheap.
Unless you start thinking about how your tank was destroyed by a gun that is better than yours, and you now have to pay 20k credits to repair it.

Horrible. Half a second!

This is very terrible, because I don't have 12 seconds to decide where I want to shoot and can point my turret there in advance.

Pretty much identical with the 128mm shells being a couple of dozen credits cheaper?

it'¿s perfectly fine that the S70 in the IS7 is better, don't forget the IS7 features an AUTOLOADER so it can fire MUCH faster than any other tank-gun in it's caliber class, actually it's been pretty nerfed in game in which it shows a small improvement over the same gun on the IS-4 which feature manual loading of bullet+propellant  (if i'm correct, it has 0.8~1RPM more).

also, why do you cry wolf at a 130mm gun with a barrel that's around 3~4m long compared to a 128mm gun, it's obvious the 130 long-barrel will pack a hell of a wallop compared to the puny 128 on the maus/vk4502

wrong the 130-mm S-70 have a caliber lenght of L/52 while the 128er have a L/55 (or L/61) barrel.

i stand corrected then, i was under the impression that the S70 was longer barreled than the 128... ot at leas it looked like that in game model

Gotta remember how big the Maus is and also how big the turret is - I'd say a fair length of that barrel's hidden away inside the turret.

EDIT: Actually, I might be wrong.

130mm S-70, 52 calibers long = 6760mm (670cm/6.7m long cannon)

128mm KwK, 55 calibers long = 7040mm (704cm/7m long cannon)

So actually, no, I was right, there's about a foot in it. Still insanely long on both tanks, mind :P

Don't forget that 130 mm S-70 fires heavier shell than 12.8 cm KwK (33 kg vs 28 kg).
