Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

I do have an update in the works that will better center the icons when using the in-game OTM settings.  It should also remove the XVM requirement when using the in-game OTM, allowing for the default new features from WG to work (like the PlayerPanel matching the longest name).  In addition, I have gotten some help from J1mB0 over on the EU forums with regards to icon mirroring.  Hopefully I can incorporate a fix for the training rooms into the next version as well.

I will keep you updated (should only be a day or two for the next version) and please let me know if you guys find anything else that could use some work.

You deserve tons of +1s, good ol' Druid may not be able to update this but I'm glad you can.

Just letting everyone know that the new version is mostly ready, just doing a little play-testing on it tonight to see if I missed anything obvious.  If everything goes well I will be posting it tomorrow.

Love it! Thanks for updating this! Quick question does the OTM editor still work with this. I wanted to change what it said if something got one shotted.

You don't need the editor for that. Just search and replace "Blow-Up!" in the xml files with any text editor your want to use. :) But yes the editor still works if you have it.

This is the most important mod to me.  I just can't stand the WG default tanks.

Thanks for continuing Druids' work in his absence.  :Smile_honoring:

I am assuming you are using the download option #1 when you want to do this.  If so, locastan was correct, you can use any text editor to make the change.  Go to your <WoT>\res_mods\0.7.2\gui\flash\ folder and open the XVM.xvmconf file in a text editor.  Then search through the file for: "blowupMessage": "Blow-up!" -- there will be two instances of it, one for allies and one for enemies.  Change the "Blow-up!" to whatever you want it to say, making sure the quotes are still there, save when you are done and that is it!

Version 1.02 Released!

Please check the main post for downloads and changes.

Please make note that if you are upgrading the in-game (option 2) version of the mod you should delete the "battle.swf" and "XVM.xvmconf" files from your <WoT>\res_mods\0.7.2\gui\flash\ folder as these files no longer need to be modified and are no longer required.

Let me know if there are any other changes or problems you see.

If you just want them on the side of the screen and not over players in-game, I would suggest getting Download Option #2 and then using the In-Game Marker settings (ESC -> Settings -> Marker) and uncheck "Vehicle Icon".  That will keep the icons on the Players Panel, but remove them from over individual tanks.

If you want one version of icons on the players panel and another in the field, that technically is possible using XVM as they allow for different iconsets to be defined for different parts of the game.

Using Download Option #3 by itself will technically work (would need to put them in <WoT>\res_mods\0.7.2\gui\maps\icons\vehicle\contour\), but then the icons will be reversed on the Players and Stats panels, and the in-game icons will have a bright green or red hue depending on the team.  That download option is intended for people who already have mods installed and do not want to mess with their configurations, but do want the icons.

Great Work that is very much appreciated,  But I made a boo-boo.

When I installed option 3 package, I must of put them in the wrong folder.  My garage now shows the Icons in the upper left hand corner of each "slot" for each tank in the "tank scroll bar"

Which folder is it, that I need to remove these files from?  And will just removing these "new" files restore my garage to normal functioning?

It sounds like you put them in <WoT>\res_mods\0.7.2\gui\maps\icons\vehicle\ instead of <WoT>\res_mods\0.7.2\gui\maps\icons\vehicle\contour\

Just deleting them out of that folder will clear up the tank bar for you.

Also, please note that with Download Option #3 you will require some other mod/edits to make everything look right.  Without any other mods the icons will be tinted a bright green/red and will be reversed for the enemy team's panels.  Download Option #2 only adds the icons and the edits required to remove the aforementioned tinting and reversal; everything else is the same as a clean install.
