my sisters are pro wedding/birthday cake builders.  But they wouldn't know how to make a tank cake.  I'm making some plans.

edit:
Napoleon Dynamite: [referring to the dance] Who are you gonna ask?
Pedro: That girl over there.
Napoleon Dynamite: Summer Wheatly? How the heck are you gonna do that?
Pedro: Build her a cake or something.

I wanted to check that we are allowed to get help.

My sister went to Culinary Arts school and makes cakes. I help her make them at times (specially big wedding cakes).

Can I have her help me make the cake as long as I help? I dont want to get disqualified since she does it for partial living.

Yes this is fine, as long as you help and can take a picture of the process ;)

If they are little tanks fighting on one big tank cake, sure!

Can I make one large cake made up of individual sheet cakes & cup cakes? I've watched the Cake Boss a few times & got some ideas.

Yes this is fine (and sounds interesting!)

It better be a Ratte with Maus models duking it out on top of the Ratte!

HAHAHAHAHA!

This has to be the greatest challenge in the history of video game challenges  :D

I can actually participate in it too, since I'm not too bad at baking myself. Even dated a cake decorater for a while; she even made me a WWII themed B-day cake lol

Also, since no one has mentioned it: what are you guys saying making a competition involving sugary foods to celebrate a North American event, huh? Trying to say that the north western hemisphere is fat? Way to stereotype :Smile-izmena:

[^ I kid of course. You guys at WG are awesome]

The rules said no professional cake bakers, but what if you yourself ARE a professional cake baker?
(Btw, I'm not a professional cake baker, and can't cook/bake for my life. Only thing I can make is Pillsbury food w/instructions on back label :P )

How can I insert an image without having to put in a url, because it doesn't let me copy and paste.

Am I the only one who immediately wanted to make a KV cake?

Then again I like KV's (Hence my sig/stats) so maybe it is just me.  Hopefully I can do it.  :)

OOPS!!!

Double post. Wonder how that keeps happening.

Probably the same reason I DC at least once a night just as a map is loading.

Read the news here!

2 questions:

1> Does the tank have to represent an actual tank or one from the game (which includes a LOT of fictional)

2> must the cake be edible (with my cooking, it won't be).

Or an Ogre, Bolo, or Berserker (all sci-fi combat vehicles that could crush a Maus, Ratte, and even the Munster without noticing they did)?
