Hi tankers

I have a little and very irritating problem that makes this game a living hell to play....

While i am playing in a battle sometimes while i use the sniper mode (Zoom mode). The game stops reacting causing me to shut it down. And have to restart WOT... This is very very very irritating, especially when you are in a critical situation where you can't afford it to loose a min... (And for some reason it almost always happens at those times).

Is there any way to stop this?

And are there any other people having the same problem as i have?

Hmm....I would try reinstalling.

I get this, but in a much less drastic form. My FPS drops to about 1 when I zoom for the first time during a match. It might be the dirt kicking up though...

I have the same probleme. I reinstalled the game. Same crash.

My game completely crash after I enter arty mode.

Same problem, i must shut down the game, but it's still running in process, cant end task by task manager. Then i must shut down my pc => my hard disk still running while the whole computer is off. What the hell happened?

for some reason it works again as it should be.... i have no more problems

How did you fix this?  I'm having the exact same problem as you described in your original post!

well at first i thought it was fixed....

after a deinstalling the game and then installing it again i thought it was fixed.
but after a couple of days playing the game without any problems i got the problem again yesterday...
the game started to crash again in snipermode. this time it was twice during the same battle. since then i havent played it anymore...

Update:  I'm still having this problem.  I crashed in El Halluf and Cliff last night after trying to enter sniper mode.  After 2 crashes in 8 games, I called it a night.

Anybody have a fix or has WoT acknowledged a problem exists yet?
