I would have thought the AT-1 Russian would be about as good as the T-18 American. Man was I decieved. I now understand why I hae never seen that many of them in this
game. I have had one for a little while and I am hating it to no end. At least with the T-18, I could take a few hits and keep on ticking, this thing is paper and can
not take solid hits. I like the fact that it is small and fairly manuverable. The guns are not that good either and that really puzzles me why? This tank is begining
to make me rethink my Soviet TD aspirations and wonder why I even thought of going this direction. You don't even get as good a armor as a Hetzer til past tier 5, wow.
Here's to hoping I haven't made a mis-judgement

I loved the AT-1, thought running around with the 75 and mini-durping was fun.

The AT-1 was actually my favorite out of the 3 starter TDs, but I guess we all have different tastes, by the way, I was in a match with you a while ago on Siegfried line, you where trying to get close to the enemy's face, I wouldn't recomend that, Russian TDs have the worst armor out all the TDs. They play a little differently than U.S. TDs, use them as support, their guns aren't very accurate but the shure pack a punch.

They have horrible armor, but get way better camo than the other nations. If you use bushes and stuff, you can sit fairly close to the enemy and they won't know you're there.
Or so I hear, I can't play them at all.

I bought the big gun and it helped somewhat, I got 3 kills and a couple of damaged tanks last round I played with it. I also made enough to buy the last gun for it
but have not tried it yet so I will do that and see how it goes. I guess I am just spoiled by my T-18. I did discover one thing on the 18, don't use the QF2 pounder
as it does not do much of anything.

I have finally settled on the 57MM cannon for my AT-1. You know, the 2nd gun,not the final one. I have tried them all and the middle one does the most damage and
takes out more opponets than any of the others. So I think I will stick with that and it also reminds me of the T18 American. Small, compact, and powerful for its
size. I am getting to like it but still not as good the the American one.

yea... you want 57mm on at-1 because it has highest pen, and highest dpm for at-1

You seem to hate all russian tanks aka KV, IS etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you started hating the arty. Anyway let me tell that the At-1 rules. It's got the most penetrating and strongest gun for a tier 2 TD. Coupled with good accuracy, it can wipe out a good number of tanks it faces. Yes it does have bad armour but just hang back and let the allies do the distracting while you rack in the kills.

Actually I am spoiled by the T-1 American which is far superior to the AT-1. The armor, pen, rof, and all. I do like the AT-1 though, now, with the
75MM it is dynomite. No, I do not hate all russian, I love the arty line as they are much beter than Americans.

AT-1 is pretty sweet with 57mm, 100% crew, rammer, cammo net & binocs.
Used to be my funnest low-tier tank until I discovered the T82.

I can relate to all that but the T-1 American is the beast that the AT-1 fears. The T82 just has more speed to it and a different set of
guns. If the T-1 had the speed and guns, what do you think?

AT-1 was pretty damn awesome during the beta and immediatly following. But over time it got nerfed piece by piece, the final gun combined with it's fast traverse speed used to mean it could stand it's ground a fill advancing tanks full of shells before they could deal any significant damage. For it's tier it was amazing for a "last stand tank", I recall completly turning the tide on many battles with that thing as the lone AT-1 decimated the remaining team closeing in for the precieved easy kill. I wouldn't be surprised if MM also got worse for it.

My Luchs hungers. She loves to devour AT-1s. When I play Luchs, I'm not the arty hunter; I'm not the scout. No, I'm the TD flanker. And T-82s, Panzerjadgers, Marder IIs, and especially AT-1s are my prime targets
...
Personally I like German TDs. So incredibly acurate. But the russian ones do have some intimidating firepower.

I decide to buy At-1 again after unlock Object 704 for giggle and shit.
I firmly stay with my statement, 57mm gun is best and I successful kill bunch of tanks due to insane RoF. But I recommend that anyone who want to keep AT-1 for giggle and shit to get vent/GLED to speed up aim time. Reloading time is 2.1 sec with 1.71 aim time. so you want to have faster aim time when follow moving target.
