Yea darn... people got a FREE tier8 premium heavy tank that'll probably cost anyone who didn't get it FREE 20-30 bucks to buy it.
I really feel sorry for all these people for getting a FREE slot and a FREE tier8 heavy tank.
How DARE they do such a thing!
I would gladly take it off your hands even without the free slot if I could just to do you a favor mac.
T34 is a freaking Joke

It's bad I sold mine, I would rather drive the KV-5 any day. At least you can shoot more than 5 times in a battle.

they should nerf t34 gun to 105mm to make it fair for all tier8 beacuse tier8 have 105mm and 122mm but t34 has twice the damage of other tier8 guns so this is not funny nerf gun and rate o fire is pretty good too tiger2 105mm has 5.67 rot and t34 has 4.60 not a big difference.

I find it disconcerting that when you flip between the T34 and the T29 in the garage, the models are near identical, besides the color and the ears.
I know the T34 IS the T29 with a bigger gun, but still.

I don't see the downside in an american heavy with unparallelled credit earning power. Yea it's slow, it's a US heavy tank.
All of the tier8 premiums have massive flaws in them. This isn't anything new. The Lowe and its thin hull armor, the KV5 and its uselessness, and now the T34 joins the lineup of tier8 heavy premies as a slow heavy with infinitybillion front turret armor, a big gun, and no turning power.
People buy these tier8's for one purpose, credit earning.. not to win battles unfortunately.
If people wanted to win more often, they'd never use kv5s right?
*edit
and yea there's a reason the T29,30,32,34 and Pershing all look very similar.
They're all based on the same Chassis.
The T29+ are all just lengthened, up armored, bigger turreted versions of the Pershing chassis.
It was a good platform for a long time. And it's nothing new for the US to re-use the same chassis a bajillion times
eg. M5 stuart (t18,82,m8,t57), M4(priest,Lee,M12,e2,e8,t14)..

If I sell this tank will I get 12,000 gold back? I would rather have a Lowe and/or the gold...I dont need a SUB 30% win rate tank no matter how much money it makes per game.
Invest in both a stabilizer and a the smooth ride skill; this will reduce the aim time a lot.

Investing in premiums is a good idea honestly.
I've noticed the more money I put into my premiums the more I get out of them.
Like spall liner, vents in my Valentine and matilda now they're awesome.
Some need more love than others, like my blasted T14 needs a spall too and probably a few more things before it'll do well.
I imagine if you throw some stuff like a stabilizer, a liner, vents, it'll start to shine too.

Victory!
Battle: Sand River Friday, April 06, 2012 4:36:43 PM
Vehicle: T34
Experience received: 1,246 <- note that this is on a standard account
Credits received: 81,663
had a couple bad accuracy rolls (especially on the light and medium at end), but killed 5 tanks, damaged 2, spotted 2, 12/16 shots, prevented them from coming back to stop our cap...
learn the tank as it exists and figure out how you need to play to get the full potential out of it

Aim time aside, tank's decent, it's slow as hell and hull armor is a joke, but it has high pen, high alpha and you can always turret abuse.

I like the T34. It's nice having a tier 8 tank with a main gun can reliably pen the front of a Type 59 without having to use gold rounds. I think its speed, acceleration, etc are comparable with the T29 and T32. I don't see what the problem is.

Hull down is really the name of the game with T34. I have a rammer, vert stab and GLD to counteract the gun nerfs and instead of vents I have brothers in arms. Why would you waste an equipment slot on vents when you can have them replaced with a skill.
I see the OP got the T34 before the patch and actually did well with the T32 so the skill for an American heavy is there... the problem seems to be just some bad luck with the teams. Give it time, do your best and it will even out. I didn't start good either. My first 10 games were all losses... and look at it now... after around 150 games I have a 60% win rate, 50% survival and over 2000 damage per game. Needless to say I love the darn thing

It is not a JOKE! it is not a JUNK! it is fine as of now.. the gun is ok if not amazing in its tier
oh you will only get some amount of credit if you sell it..... even if WG is generous, you can't get full 12000 gold back(it is always half the price you bought)
however, you grind for it don't ya? why would WG gives you gold back if you get it for FREE? gold for converting xp is not count as it was on your own(you may use it on other things)

Every time I play mine I earn at least 50K in credits. Not bad for a free premium.
