Earlier I was in my Tetrarch and sniped a kill at 520 meters and then in the same match got another at 650(!) meters - both kills I thought were pretty ridiculous for a Tetrarch (but not complaining), which made me wonder in a TD or not, what's your longest shot that took out a tank? Btw - these weren't one off final blows but I hit each several times at those distances before they blew up.

From one map end to the other. (Does arty count
). Jk, but I got around 700m on a blindshot on my t30. Like usual, he called me a hacker.

The longest shot I have ever taken was on Prokorovka. I was in my KV, had the following on it: 1)Stock Turret 2)122MM Derp, 3)Rammer, & 4)AP ammo. I was sitting at
the base that has the buildings, saw a red diamond on the hillside, where they like to go, zoomed in until I got a green arrow and fired. To my amazement, I one shot
a Panzer II. He could not believe it either and had a few choice words for it. Never been able to duplicate that again.
I was on the map where you can fight from the old castle, inside the court yard. My KV had the 107 on it and I shot a STUG III, with it, that was sitting all the way
at A1, in the corner and took 60+% off him with that one shot.

I personaly dont know what my longest kill was as it was far enough to be out of range for the range finder as I have to play on low settings including short view ranges so after a sertain range everything just goes into a grey wall but I can still see the red icon above the enemies. My longest was with my M6 I was on the hill on campanovka and sniped an AMX 13-90 that was sitting in the far edge of the northern forest were the arty usualy is. Either that or on Komarin with my stug using the 105 I nailed a leo that was capping in the east flag I hit him while racing back and was in the middle of the northern foresting in the west, but I hit him while going full speed (40 kph) I dont know why I even tried that shot but I had a feeling to try.

So that was YOU!
Prolly not, since the bases aren't that far apart. But a T30 once blind shot ammo-racked my Lowe as I was leaving base in Malinovka. He was on the move as well, so it was supreme luck. (those that remember driving a T30 when it was a T10 heavy know about its 'dispersion' issues) I spent the rest of the match rooting for the T30, because that was fuggin' awesome!

Longest kill was 653m with an IS, longest hit was at 712m with a Lowe.

688m in a PzIV. I was behind the church in Malinovka and a scout lit up a T29 climbing the hill. Half our team fired at him and I got the killshot
The guy wasn't happy.

650m on a grille, with only the top half of it's chassis sticking out while moving, oh yeah... and with a KV-Derp.

I'm not sure exactly what the distance was in meters, but the longest kill I've made was lobbing a 152 shell (KV) sitting on the ridge at El Halluf and nailing an arty parked in the rear of the enemy base. Best part was I was aiming at a TD directly across from me...the shell overshot and hit the arty by pure chance. Had to be around 600m. I had a partially blind killshot from the hill at Prokhorovka in my Panther II that might have been longer, but I'm not sure.
Craziest shot ever had to be killing a M7 Priest with my SU-5 while rolling at full speed (all of 30 km/h) down the low middle road in Karelia. Fired the shot without using birds-eye view at the red square on the top of the hill in the enemies' base. It was the last shell in my rack and he was the last baddie alive, earned me my first Fadin's medal. It was pure luck, but I still beam with pride when I think about it.

Best and most hilarious was my KV taking a shot across karelia at an enemy KT... and having the shot hit an ALLIED a20... derpgun indeed.

Had many long range snipes in T32, T34, Tiger, KT and the new T110, an accurate gun is very much required for this kind of job, the rest is pen and luck.
Lost my count on kills over 500m, but here are some moment I put on Youtube:
Over 520m, 2 kills (the second kill may be closer than 500m but it was a moving target)
Over 545m, blind shot
Not sure about the distance, blind shot

640m approx on a panther on Sand River in my KV3 with the 122, think I ammo racked him too as he was at 90% and I popped him.
350m approx derp gun kill on another KV also on sand river.
my stug can land 600m shots all day, but unless its a low tier they usually bounce.

I was in my KV-3 and fired at a Panther2, My shot went outside my reticle(stupid RNG
) but then proceeded to sail across the map(fisherman's bay) and hit one of their Arties, who hadn't actually been spotted by anyone yet.
One hit kill.

don't know the range most likely well above 700m...but on el haluf blind fire at a marker on the map from the lower right corner up to the A2-3 hill in my jagdtiger on an E50 trying to swing round the side of the hill and shoot our heavies in the back...so the gun accuracy obviously helped c

I once shot beyond drawing distance on sand river with IS-4...couldn't measure because the dead tank wasn't rendered.
