In the low tiers the tanks who have the machine gun cannons like the T2 light tank for example. Now the cannon on that tank is not an auto loader like the higher French tanks. So who can I only fire a three round burst...then a two round burst...then weight a while to reload...as if it was an auto loader.
I believe they should bring the low tiered cannons back to the way they were. They give a burst and let them cool and regain stability so you can fire another burst because that's what they did. It's not like they had to reload every 5 shots...

The way they are now is actually much more historically accurate. Most of those auto-guns were magazine or belt fed.

Each one of those 5 shots you have before reloaded contains a number of bullets. I don't think the numbers add up quite to historic standards, my Pz II fired 5 shots of 3 rounds for a total of 15 when the gun historically had a 20 round magazine, but the general system fits. Each of your trigger pulls in WoT would be your gunner firing one short burts. Click fast enough and it's like going full-auto. The M2HB MG the M2 Light tank starts with normally had a 50 round belt in vehicle operation so it takes a bigger hit (I think it has 5 shots of 5 round bursts for a total of 25 bullets) but I think it balances out ok.

Yes please! They ruined the low tier tanks when they changed them. I'd rather they go back to the way they were, especially the Pz. II.

Well in tanks like the T2 light or the pz II you have no choice but the auto guns.
I would definitely love it to go back to the way it was, but If this way is more historically accurate then the way it is can be delt with

Honestly, I'm pretty cool with this way because it does sound like it makes autoguns more useful, though I really didn't like having to use them back when I drove the Pz II.
