I've had a bit of a search through the forums and haven't found anything about this elsewhere, nor have I played long enough to have had this pop up before...
I'm currently using an IS-4 as my primary tank, but still own a KV and am slowly working towards unlocking the S-51... What I'm wondering is what will happen to the XP I have accrued on the KV when it gets split into two tanks, because at this stage it is unlikely that I will have enough xp to unlock the S-51 prior to the 7.3 patch...

I think you should send a ticket to support. I really don't know the answer but I've heard that you would be able to choose what tank you want to transfer your xp to?

I think this also goes for the IS-4 if you're currently working on getting the IS-7 but don't make it in time.
