Packet loss telia.net servers

Yeah, I won't bother posting a pingplotter screenshot, as the ones above me are a virtual mirror of what mine looks like. Telia.net servers just keep dropping the ball and getting me killed for "sitting still" when waiting for the ping to go down, and the lag indicator to turn back to green.

Still getting high latency and occasional packet loss on the telia.net servers. Gah.

and 1 month later they are still screwing up the works.
It's due to Block headed swedes that seem to own most of all former soviet block telco companies and thier networks.... http://en.wikipedia....iki/TeliaSonera.

First off, when running a traceroute or ping -t to the game server, I was getting terrible packet loss, and my connection was being routed through telia.net servers along the way. I was literally getting disconnected every 2-5 minutes.
Here is my solution. (After doing this, I was no longer routed through ANY TELIA.NET SERVERS!)
My router had a setting called RG Passthrough, when enabled, turned off NAPT mode and disabled the router portion of the modem, giving my computer a "real" IP address and allowed my signal to be routed properly to the game servers.
Recap, enable RG Passthrough, your modem will reboot, and when it comes back up, you may get a message on your computer about a new network being found. Set up the new network on your computer which is very simple, just follow the steps, and hopefully you will now have a much better connection to the game servers and not be getting the packet loss/connection issues any longer.
It absolutely worked perfectly for me, I have been playing for 6 hours straight, and not one single disconnection.
I really hope this helps some people out there that have the same or similar cable modems where they are having connection issues.
Please reply and let me know if this helped you or anyone you know with connection issues!
For any of you having disconnection issues who are using a Surfboard SBG6580 Gateway Cable Modem, or using ANY cable modem that has a built in router, here is how I fixed my disconnection issues!
First off, when running a traceroute or ping -t to the game server, I was getting terrible packet loss, and my connection was being routed through telia.net servers along the way. I was literally getting disconnected from The Secret World every 2-5 minutes, and would get the Lost connection to server, would you like to reconnect message over and over.

I feel for you.
Myself and my skirmish tournament team have been consistently having issues while connected to wotus1-slave-32.worldoftanks.com
It's basically so frustrating while on that server I'd rather not play at all. Lots of Jitter (Packet delay variation)on the telia.net server.

This provider is still having issues. Below are the affected Routers that are killing me this week.
I've been having issues since 8.0 patch. FPS is fine.
Here is a traceroute from DSL and CABLE below
But I used to average 100ms to 120ms. Now I'm spiking to 300ms and averaging 200ms.
It is almost like the Router feeds to the West and Central areas are having issues. My friends on East coast seem to be fine in the same game.
I have two internet connections at home for my work.
There is a HUGE jump at hop 13/14 router P2P
