 The Repo Man Mod Pack

New Screen Shots Coming!

Spoiler

ALL these mods RUN on the latest 0.9.1 version of the game.

A few people found them useful and suggested I post my pack here too (let me know what you think of the mods).

I claim NO rights or ownership to these mods, I have just compiled various mods that I have found both visually appealing and useful.

I have linked the main sources I use (when possible) for them, as you can find the most current updated versions on the linked pages.

Most files should be installed here: Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.1\ (pay attention to what folders like gui, flash, map, etc).

IF you choose to selectively install mods on your own, pay attention to the folders. Some mods have many folders, all which have specific placements.

- Latest XVM with minimap options

- J1mbo's Reticles with Gun Restraints

- POGS Contour Icons (Simple Clear Color)

- Radial Menu (With Announcer v2)

- Multi Row Hanger (Set to 1 row, this can be changed to 5 if wanted)

- Scope Shadow Remover

- Damage Panel (by Cbaroughneck)

- Zoom IN/OUT

Other Notable Options:

* No Video Intro

* Custom Login Images

* Custom 'thinking' wheel

* Various Vehicle Tank Skins

* Disabled affects

      - Exhaust Pipe Smoke

      - Destroyed Tanks

      - Hitting Objects

      - Destroyed Objects

      - Tree Shake

*** NEW BoT checking mod ***

I am testing the bot detector by Locastan! If anyone runs into issues with this, please post as I will either contact Locaston over in the EU area or temporarily remove the files in a quick update.

It's features are listed as:

  • Reports ingame bot complaints to VBAddict.net
  • Marks known bot users ingame [BOT!]
  • Marks wiped accounts of formerly identified bot users [WIPE!]

For XVM users, this mod needs a "activation" in order to see stats in the game. If you have not done this prior to running a match, on the bottom right corner (in game), they've added a clickable link to do this.

For those who want instant gratification!

This link (http://www.mediafire.com/download/5mwurha8uz79y2y/RepoMods9.1.zip), is my 0.9.1 Res_Mod folder made into a .zip, to install.

- Navigate to WoT \ Res_Mods \ *RENAME your 0.9.1 AND XVM folders you see there (or just delete it if you have no mods yet)
- Copy & Paste or drag everything from the .zip file into your Res_mods folder
- Completely RESTART your game, and all the mods should work properly. Easiest way to notice, is if the login screen image is different.

*My in game settings are all set to max everything at a screen resolution of 1920 by 1080. So some info panels might show in different places if you're on a different resolution. Most mods are setup to be adjustable if this happens.

If you need more help, leave a note here or find me in game.. :-)

you should try out strykers as well, helpful sight mod, includes a number countdown till your able to fire again, and different sights to use

Have a link handy? Disreguard, I checked out that one and feel it clutters up the screen too much. The Jimbo reticles give me more screen view and don't black out anything along the borders (hense the scope shadow mod above too). Thank you for the suggestion tho. :-)

If you send me a note with a email, I have the original .zip I can send you, or the one seen with our clan logo.

Here's a link to get the stock JeanPanel Damage Panel, w/o our clan logo.

I will leave the link active, but I have now switched to Demole's Damage Panel.

Hey, thank you for reviewing all these mods, some of them are really nice but I couldnt find them anywhere. Can i ask that since you have 2 different sight mods (one for arty and one for sniper) do they hinder each other? Like the DAR arty mod removes the reload time feature for J1mB0.

Once again, nice work!

Going to try out your modpack, but what do I do with the two loose files in the .zip? wot-xvm-proxy, and the wot-xvm-proxy.exe.config?

Not at all they, work well together. The arty reticle has the same countdown timer as Jimbo's, but just offers a lot more on screen info then his arty version.

Give it a spin, if you dislike the different arty one I use, you can easily slip in Jimbo's :-)

Those two go into your main WoT folder, they're part of the XVM full suite. The only thing to run the full XVM suite would require just installing the Dolkan Library.

If you need more help, drop me a note here or hit me up in game. :-)

The Repo Man Mod Pack

ALL these mods currently RUN on the latest 0.7.5 version of the game.

Most files should be installed here: Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.5\ (pay attention to what folders like gui, flash, map, etc)
A couple mods have extra folders, so attention should be made when installing ALL the mods.

placement: World of Tanks\res_mods\0.7.5\gui\flash\
*NOTE* They offer a small or large icon, I use the large

* Top Gear Voice Pack
http://forum.worldof...ere-updated-v1/
placement: World of Tanks\res\audio\ (however you can create a audio folder INSIDE your res_mod folder, I feel my placement to be much easier)

- The creator of this has released a second version, with a couple versions should it lag you in game. My personal opinion is the original version is better tho.

** REMEMBER TO RENAME THE MATCHING FILES, ARE YOU ARE CHANGING MASTER GAME FILES IF YOU WANT THE ORIGINAL ONES BACK LATER **

I highly also suggest MillBarge's mod as well, if you suffer from lower FPS's in game.

Excellent mod, one thing I would add, is to have the ability to see exactly how much xp and money u earned after everygame. I can't seem to see those figures in the history box when im in garage page

I use the 'Colored Battle results' mod, where is breaks things down a little easier for you. Here's one from a mod test I did last night:

Removed, no longer apart of the package, in game is more detailed now

*Note*

I have had a couple people (and myself) note a minor mod bug. It only been noticed in pre-clanwar load in stage. It changes the battle descriptions from English to Russian. All player names, map names, and clan names stay in english.

This DOES NOT affect any game play or performance. It just might merely be slightly annoying to those with OCD.

I will work through the mods I use to try and single out which one is doing this.

See you out in the field!
