A nice extra. I can't take much advantage of the discounts so this is a nice alternate for me.
Cheers.

Thank you.
It is nice to see a game company that gives its players a little extra now and then.

It's a trap: don't use it.
I did and first battle was me with a t92 and t95 up against 2 AMX 90s a 110E5 and an IS4.
(co-incidence, the last two I need to kill for my Master Tanker were in my team?)

Hi,
I already have a Premium Account. The instructions say to put in the promo code. When I log into my account, and click to extend, it asks for gold. Nothing about a code.
Where do you put in the promo code?
Thanks,
David

Glad that it is such a success. As posted previously:
Recent Joystiq article on WOT business success.
Note that 423k concurrent users on RU server. 150k on China server. 85k on EU server. Here NA server has 25-30k concurrent users. Mere 4 % of WOT worldwide.

World of Tanks has 20 million registered users, making double-digit million profits monthly

Wargaming.net is going through quite a growth spurt, and the company's CEO says it's not just about registered user numbers boosted by freeloading players. "We probably have one of the highest payment ratios in the industry, it's around 25 to 30 percent," Victor Kislyi recently told GamesIndustry.biz.
Kislyi also offered up some impressive concurrent user numbers for World of Tanks, including 423,000 simultaneous Russian tankers that he said outstrips the entirety of EVE Online's playerbase.
As for the "pay-to-win" rhetoric often found in World of Tanks internet discussions, Kislyi says it is what it is. "For casual gameplay, which most players do most of the time, people don't usually use gold or expendables. Of course if you want to win a tournament, if you're competitive, if you play clan wars, if you want to be at the top, we think it's appropriate to expect a little bit of money from you because you already spent hundreds of hours in our game and that's much more than the value of any $50 box."

Newbies might be impressed with such a weak offer.. but I've been here since before release and I've seen better specials on a weekend event.. this is your BIRTHDAY, and we get less than a weekend special..
1 day premium for your one year anniversary / 3 days prem + specials on gold purchases, for a weekend event == WTF.

Question - posting says this starts on the 12th and ends on the 16th...Why does the in-game message say the premium account is extended for one-day and ends on the 13th? I do not have a premium account. Each of my W.O.T. accounts has the same thing - this ends on the 13th.

I sincerely expected something bigger for the BDAY. But hey, I´ll take what I get!
