something doesnt make sense!! if there was 350 million battles then (350,000,000 x 30=10,500,000,000= 10.5 billion tanks went in battle) and then they say MORE than 13 billion tank were destroyed! i know that numbers r not exact but thats 2.5 bill off (a 20% error calculation), not to mention NOT ALL TANKS get destroyed in battles ... am i wrong?

i want someone to explain to me please...

I object to the term 'tankmen' on your website. There are some of us tank girls out here too ya know!
All in all a great year of gaming. Thanks!

Think you have to remember that not all battles have the full 30 tanks, or that they are not all Random or Clan battles. maybe they are counting the training battles kills, but not the battles in their numbers.

Another bit of math:
13 billion vehicles destroyed in 350 million battles equals 37.1 vehicles per battle. Which I find rather questionable, considering the fact that each battle has a max of 30 vehicles, and on average ~25% survives.
So SOMETHING isn't right with those stats.
If the 13 billion destroyed is accurate and we take a 25% survival rate as well as 30 vehicles per battle, then 13 billion = 75% of the total vehicles that taken part in battle, or 17290000000 total vehicles that have taken part in battle. Divide this by 30 and we get 576333333 or 576 million battles. More than 350 million, but still not very many compared to the number of registered users listed.

The mathematical issues with the stats listed have already been raised in other posts on the first page of this thread.

I was hoping for a little more pop from a 1 year anniversary, such as 1 half price vehicle of your choice or something more substantial. I'm grateful for another bonus, but it's just like the others
How great would it be to have that tank you were saving for suddenly be halfprice no matter what tier it is. That'd be a treat and a worthy treat for a 1 year anniversary.

Nice vid, shame about the music ........ although I still question the ability of tanks to 'fly' as portrayed in a couple of the video segments.

These videos get me fired up; in almost ALL of them the tanks hit a hill and go flying in midair and then land. NOT ONCE have I seen that happen in the game
. If you're going to show it in the videos, you might as well put it in the game!!!

Decent vidoe, really short and as others stated, a bit off with showing physics already. I was watching. Russian interview about the physics and saw, what I hope to be, a number of issues they need to fix before they release it. Like tanks jumping off cliffs to sink to the bottom of a lake and still fight. I would hate to drive off the map by accident here.
As for tanks catching air in r/l, yes it is possible. I jumped an M1A1 and a Bradley before. Tried with a 113 but couldn't get the needed speed. And no they don't always land nice. The Bradley came down nose first and rolled about 3 times before it stoped on it's side. Mechanics were NOT impressed with all the damages. Stalled out M1's before crossing rivers when the water got to deep. Didn't have a snorkle kits installed, LOL.

I wonder if DFA (death from above) will work in WoT. I did that often in Mechwarrior 4.
