I went through the steps (thanks for the help by the way) and when I tried to start it returned the following:
WoT XVM Proxy v1.1.429224
System.Exception: Game start file not found: WorldOfTanks.exe
  at wot.Program.Main<String[ ] args>

Any idea what I did wrong?

EDIT: Ok went through and got it working, still not showing the player win rates, efficiency ratings, or reload timer as I want it to. Any ideas on that?

2nd EDIT: All good, played with it and is fixed. Thanks for the initial help

anyone know what this was?  I am having this issue.

you probably don't have the XVM on the main folder of WoT

Anyone has experience with running the windows Dokan library under Wine?
I tried installing it today, but the important parts of the mod mess up because dokan.sys doesn't seem to work.

I figured this part out it was because I was launching from a desktop shortcut.  if I launch directly from the wot folder it works.  However, XVM still isnt working.  back to tinkering.

Just got xvm working today........don't bet on the info it displays. One game showed my team with a 28% chance to win......we wiped the other team out and had 8 tanks still alive. Another game showed about half the team in red (low 40's) At the end of the game all the low W/L players had all the kills and were still alive....all the higher W/L players were dead in the first 5 minutes. Some of the most moronic playing I saw tonight was done by the higher rated players. Other than the pretty colors I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

I've been noticing that the proxy server has been timing out a lot lately. Having to restart the game a couple times to get it to have a ping.

Is there a command i can type right in the proxy command window to get it to retry a connection?

Edit: Nevermind, apparently I can't even type in the proxy window anyway.

The following sections of the xvm.xvmconfig file are rewritten to show players' winrate and battle for the tanks they are in. (The efficiency statistic is still global)

I find this much more useful, as it shows how players are doing in the tank they have in the match. You need xvm ver 2.4.2 (full) to use this setup

// Parameters of the Battle Statistics Form
  "statisticForm": {
	"showChances": true,		  // true - Enable display of "chance to win" (only with XVM-full).
	"showChancesExp": false,  // Show experimental "chance to win" formula
	"removeSquadIcon": false, // true - Disable Platoon icons. This blank space can house, for example, clan logos.
	// Display options for Team/Clan logos (see battleLoading above)
	"clanIcon": { "show": true, "x": 0, "y": 6, "xr": 0, "yr": 6, "h": 16, "w": 16, "alpha": 90 },
	// Display format for the left column (macros allowed, see readme-en.txt)
	"formatLeft": "<font color='{{c:t-battles}}'>{{t-battles}}</font> <font color='{{c:eff}}'>{{eff}}</font> <font color='{{c:t-rating}}'>{{t-rating}}</font>",
	// Display format for the right column (macros allowed, see readme-en.txt)

Ty, but here are only zip-files with config-files, without the wot-xvm-proxy.exe.

I've got a question with XVM installation; is there a way to toggle individual tank win/loss ratio display as well as the global win/lose ratio display? It does global but I've seen the individual one as well and I'm wondering how to do it. Thanks.

download the newest files and in there there is 2 read me's  read both of them and it will tell ya what stats are shown and then edit your cfg to your liking.

you could have tank stats shown then press ALT key and show the other stats you want.

like i said the 2 read me's shows how to do everything
