Hi
Recently I've seen the E-100 mod without skirts and others and I was asking myself if I could do it too. Torsys_ and Noobisko on the Russian forums helped me alot and I thanks them for that.
This little modification to the model removes the skirts and fix the texture so it looks better. It supports the ingame camo. I do not guarantee that it will work with custom camo because my friend edited the texture because where were the skirts, the texture was darkened, he lightenned it up but most of the custom textures don't have that. It will work but the lower part of the side armor will be darker which is quite annoying.
Before editing the packages, make sure you make a backup, like vehicles_german_backup.pkg
How to install :
#1 Download the file here : http://filesmelt.com...-75NoSkirts.rar
#2 Use winrar to extract the file where you want
#3 go in C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res\packages and open up vehicles_german.pkg (make a backup before) with winrar
#4 open the folder you extracted and in that folder, you will find G55_E-75, put it on the side of your screen
#5 in the vehicles_german.pkg open the folder vehicles, then german, then take G55_E-75 folder and slide it in the window of vehicles_german.pkg
#6 if it ask to override, say yes.
#7 enjoy
If it doesn't work. Please ask in the thread and I will try to answer my best.

Jagdpanther with skirts would take a lot of time to do but I can try the hetzer without skirts.
Will think about the thread. Oh also here is the hetzer : http://filesmelt.com...etzerSkirts.rar
Install it the same way as the E-75. The only difference is that one have a version with damaged skirts so you have to choose which one you add to the package.

Thanks
No rush on the JP,however,a common request I saw on the Panzer 4 model upgrade was doing the Panzer 3.
Yeah, thats asked for alot. Makes me wonder though if beat will ever learn to start from scratch and make models. Basically, Remodel the M4 to the Firefly. Doubt its possible, though.

Firefly is in the Commonwealth tree,so no need to remodel the M4 Sherman
Now are all the skirts removable on the Hetzer? I think the Hetzer would be great without its skirt
I have to say,so far amazing work Zombie

i just confirmed that you can put the modded files inside the usual \res_mods\ file structure and have it work
for this modified E-75 that is.
it's the other torsys models that don't work

Strange, I tried myself and it didn't work.
What I did was open up all the vehicle packages, then copy and paste them all into the res_mods/vehicles and remade the entire vehicle trees
.so far they all work. Only issue I have is getting scripted mods to work(I have a maybach sound mod but for some reason i cant get it to work on the German/French tanks,so I just made it work for all tanks)

Found a maybach on the EU forums, quite nice! I really love maybach sounds. Also I think I have finished the Jagdpanther.

Edit : for the jagdpanther, i think you can use Torsys's Panther for that because the hull is the same.

You cant, the superstructure is on the hull,so basically, its not gonna use anything from the Panther.

I used panther II skirts, looks pretty cool except I need to fix the camo.
Here's a preview.

If I can fix that damn texture error I will be able to release it soon. One solution would be make your skins to make it work but it's not the same thing. I've tried adding my own _CM map to the new texture but it doesn't want to use it.
