Hi, I'll start off by saying I love everything in the new patch so thumbs up there.

I have difficulty getting any enjoyment playing the NEW Province map and it appears I am not the only one.

When ever I get that map in a slow high tier tank I can more often than not wave good bye to 20k + credits. (and 2 minutes of my life)

I know people are divided on this map. Some people will say you need to play smarter or I know a great spot etc.

My main point I guess is I, along with many others play for enjoyment.

I get no joy hiding behind a building or stick or whatever I cant rush to, to die quickly and loose credits in the process.

This is a simple yes/no for me.

On balance I think the map degrades my enjoyment of the game as a whole and am interested in what everyone else thinks about getting it removed.

Yea really people, it's here to stay. Personally, I don't mind the map and seeing one of these threads about Province pretty much daily gets on my nerves. Everyone has a map they hate, a map they love etc. Just because not that many people love Province does NOT mean it will be removed.

To be honest I cant wait till they put in the black and white lists... because theres a few maps that I really prefer not to play on.

Its not a bitch, it a respectful attempt to gauge peoples views on having the map removed; I also doubt it ever would be.

I've been playing for a year with 8745 games to date and don’t "bitch" about everything I don’t like.

I also put my hand in my pocket to support a game I enjoy.

I respect other people’s views, shame the forum REP is copping a hiding because some people don’t respect mine in this thread.....

i just exit battle and go play another tank when this hideous map comes up.

Because if you move out of cover you will be annihilated by snipers and valley defenders. This map is hideously boring and one dimensional.

Yea, you love the one dimensional map that drags on forever every single time because people are unable to move out of cover or maneuver in any way shape or form without being revealed to the enemy. But you hate the map that is varied, has hard and soft cover in abundance and has tons of undulating ground for maneuver that provides situations for all tank classes to excel in. You have terrible taste.

I bet your team just loves ya for that. I have absolutely NOTHING good to say about anyone who selfishly abandons a battle because they don't like a map. You have good stats and are probably a good player in most respects but I would rather not have you on my team under any circumstances. Problem is solved for you, but it isn't for your team which is now fighting 1 gun down. The only thing hideous is your attitude.

You want to get rid of this map? It is a great map... I hate Ensk but would never think of asking to remove it. Each map is different and you have to think it out. Leave the map alone and enjoy the diversity. Thanks.

Maybe some adjustment, especially to the side ramps to give a bit more cover for an assault there.

But all in all, I like this map.  Even with a KV3 I can get down hill fast enough to get into the valley on the opposite side without being hammered too much.

If you are down in the valley, it's quite fun.  If you stay up top, it can be quite boring.

And just quitting because you hate the map is just plain selfish.  I've felt that way a lot with maps like Malinovka and Swamp (hate that map), but I just don't do things like that.

If you want to leave, at least go out in a blaze of scouting glory (even heavies can make surprising scouts sometimes, as they can at least live a while and keep stuff lit up!).

Really, all this map needs is editing.  Either side cover on the ramps so you don't get shot to death if you try to move to the enemy side, OR put up cover around the cap zones so you can cap them if they try to camp all game long.

The maps fine it just doesnt support the now typical lemming charge because 13 tanks cannot fit behind the 2 biuldings under the cliff so alot of players dont like it because they have to split thier forces some to the lower levels some to snipe and pick away at the enemy.

The map basically makes the whole team think very qiuckly about where to go in the first few seconds rather than everyone going the same way then having to double back because they have been flanked because once committed on province you have to stick with it unlike some other maps where you can double back under cover on flat ground on province you would die before getting back up the hill

the ONLY thing wrong with province is the size...it's too small, something like 600mx600m.  If it were just scaled up to 1kmx1km, but otherwise kept exactly the same, it would be a great map.

Now komarin, THERE's a shitty map....
