This is going to make tier 5 - 7 mediums and heavies very difficult to play outside of company battles. Forget platooning.

There is no reason for the T150 to exist.
When a tank is just utterly outclassed by the 1S. Its just sad how pathetic this steaming pile of **** is. I cannot stand it is.
Okay Ill add that its still better than the M6. Simply due to the last gun...But there is still no point to it, its almost a reskin of the KV2 without the lulz gun.

The KV-4 has some good armor, little bit on the strong side, but i would like to see a slight boost of 150 damage to the IS-4 #2 gun, to make up for the 120 frontal armor.

I too would question the top gun choice on the KV-4. Why not just make it the same as the IS-3? That way we have more crossover or carry through?
Other than that so far my KV-5 seems to do better than my KV-4, but that's probably due to my lack of time with the KV-4. I'm a KV driver though so I'm looking forward to more time with them all.

I'm cross-posting this with its own topic in the board to try and gin up more conversation on the matter.
KV-2 at Tier 6.
I'm not really sure why this is. Most would say that the 107mm ZiS-6 is way too much gun for Tier 5. I would argue that KV gets into Tier 5 battles so rarely in the first place that that's basically a non-issue, but let's just assume that's why it can't be a Tier 5.
Now, I am aware that ZiS-6 was tested in a KV-2 (under the designation F-39) and was functional but the long length of the shells made it difficult to load in the KV-2's turret, which is why KV-3 was to be equipped with a much longer one. But, this *was* a historical configuration, even if only for testing.
That being the case, we now have T-150 as a Tier 6 tank whose top gun is 107mm ZiS-6. This tank is already being fairly maligned because at Tier 6 107mm ZiS-6 really isn't that great in the first place (I would much rather be using 100mm D-10T, and I did in fact use this gun the entire time I had my KV-3), even in a tank that can move better.
So, even though most tanks in WoT are equipped with guns that were only tested on them (e.g. 85mm F-30 and 57mm ZiS-4 on T-28), wouldn't it be fair to remove ZiS-6 from KV-2 and keep it at Tier 5?
Compared to T-150, KV-2's only extra ability comes from the fact that it can equip the 152mm M-10 (the famous derpgun), which WoT considers to be a Tier V gun anyway. As it is, the only reason you'd even play KV-2 anyway is for that gun, since those of you who wanted to use ZiS-6 would be just as well off playing T-150 which is more or less better in just about every other way. This would essentially remove the only reason for KV-2 to be a Tier 6 tank, as I believe most level-headed tankers would think the absurdly powerful but also absurdly inaccurate and absurdly slow aiming/loading 152mm M-10 is just fine at Tier 5.

I hear your arguments, but you'd have lots of folks screaming if the 107 was not a option on the KV2. Whether it functions well on a tier 6 tank or not.
I'd argue that the 107 while not great on a tier 6 tank is still a viable gun. Look at some of the stock guns on tier 6 and 7 tanks...they are lacking comparatively. Regarding the 152, used correctly it is absurdly fun. It is overkill at tier 5 and a hoot to use in tier 6 and up battles. I've had several battles where you platoon or otherwise team with another faster loading, hard hitting tank, and you can stomp on the enemy. My best two battles were where I teamed with a Lowe and then a T95. On each battle we combined for more than half the enemy team kills.

Sorry, but the derpgun is also OP in T5 ... In fact, i always thought that the derp gun is way more OP than the 107: It do artillery type of damage, with artillery type of splash, but in a tank who can go close enough of the enemy tank to counter the inaccuracy of the gun.
In T6 that gun will be less powerful due to everyone having more life, but still atrociously dangerous with a good driver. For me it's fair that this gun is the only interesting feature of that tank over the T-150.

I'm starting to think that people really believe any gun that can one-shot other tanks in ideal situations is OP.

The problem here is to kill a KV you need to keep him in the open for a solid 10-15 seconds to kill him(I'm basing this on T-34's gun just as an example and assuming no bounces too lol). For him you only have to expose yourself for half a second and get hit. Boom KV wins baring absurd luck on your part leaving you with 10 hitpoints. He has to blunder around in the open for a solid 10+ seconds. The only thing keeping KV's win rate from being any higher is the fact that any KV in a tier 5 room is the NUMERO UNO threat and everybody in the match(esp arty) knows it.
Of course long range shots have a good chance of missing but the gun does seem to fire straight enough much more than you would expect from its accuracy rating.
Tier 5 arty has the same damage gun and it can't get in tier 5 matches.

So from having tested all of the new heavies, pretty much all of the new changes have been pretty good at the worst. For starters, breaking up the KV was a needed decision to really balance things out for the t5's and the way that they went about it took an OP t5 and turned it to two monster tanks that are still toward the top of their tiers in performance. The t150 has been a pretty good t6 and makes a good option to the Kv-2 and KV-1s (it feels like it kind of spits the two in performance) but I cant help but feel that it may have been better off as a t5 premium instead and that the tech tree would have made more sense with the brawler line of the soviets going from the kv-1 numerically to the kv-4. The Upgraded K-3 has turned out to be a monster as a t7 with armor values already being higher than almost all of the others, the addition of the 850 hp engine, high HP and the D-25t gun give it the ability to trade blows with the others and come out on top. After the grind to get the super telephone gun on the KV-4 I felt like I was running around as the old tele-KV's big brother who was an all-American lineman. with the exception of a few small areas (the small secondary turret on top primarily) this thing is incredibly bouncy and makes getting steel wall a breeze when its near the top of the tier. There are really two things I feel that they should work on with this tank and those are the ROF should get a little closer to the one on the old Zi6 and its elevation and depression should get a buff of at least a degree or two.
The ST-1 has been a great tank as a t9 and with its high penning gun and good depression Its a great sniper and brawler tank, but I feel that they should make the long 107 an option (not to say that the bl-9 should be taken off ) for this tank since not everyone who goes down this line would already have the bl-9 researched, it would also add to the dynamic of this tank because many of its predecessors had a large selection of guns to choose from. The Is-8 is a little on the flimsy side, but it is still very viable as a fighter if need be and its maneuverability give this thing the ability to move around enemies and take out any unsuspecting TD and arty piece. The big gun on both tiers nines is a real monster and gives them the ability to really hurt anything in their way with high penn and a good amount of damage but aiming time should get a slight buff to cut down on the time that the two tanks leave themselves exposed before firing.
The IS-4 as a t10 has been a bit of a controversial move because the front of its hull has been somewhat lacking and the fact that its first gun is the D-25t, but it really isnt a bad option as a t10 at all, people just need to take the time to get used to playing it and learn to angle it right. On its hull armor, it really isn't as bad as people say because the weak spot is just around the diver hatch and therefor not really that big of an area that is vulnerable and from my experience shooting in the general area with the new gun, your better off aiming low toward its belly unless your are close. I feel since it did already have the S-70 before it became a t10, that it should retain that gun as well as have its new gun to support different play styles(High penn average damage vs average penn high damage). It is a brawler tank and just like many of the tanks that came before it, it would be cool to have a bit of a selection of guns to choose from. The only other change that I feel that they should make would be to return the depression that it had as a t9 because hulling down is a common tactic of most brawler tankers and being able to do so would make this tank more appealing.

My concern with the KV-1/KV-2 split is that the trained KV crew is getting moved to the KV-1, while the KV-2 gets an inexperienced crew. If, for some reason, I don't want to play the KV-1 because it doesn't get the 152mm gun, and wish to sell it, the crew is now partially useless in the KV-2 because I need to retrain them and buy an extra loader, which totally eliminates the option to use the Brothers in Arms skill for a while. BiA was the first perk I put on the KV after the latest patch. Also, my brilliant KV stats will not continue on to the KV-2, but the KV-1, so I have to start building the Cult of the Derp Cannon from the beginning. I think it would be far more balanced to offer players an easy choice of which tank they want to continue playing rather than having to mess with retraining, buying extra crew, and resetting learned skills so we aren't stuck with a useless BiA perk.
