As for the artillery.....S35 body with the German 75mm PaK 40, more or less? To include the horrible engine performance of a Hotchkiss? (I know the body isn't a Somua, but in overall concept...)

It's built on the chassis of the FCM 36:

Actually, This thing is the Predecessor to the Marder II, it's the Marder I.

Germans did like nice abandoned vehicles, they seemed especially fond of the french ones.

All in all i think the two new french tanks will be nice additions, like everyone has said the TD is a decent tank, like a marder II but with very slow speed. The thing i think people will disslike the most about it is the very very limited gun transverse before the tank has to dissplace alot, and as many of you know every time that happens you brake your cammo for a few seconds. Your always going to be last into battle, and you will have a high chance of being spotted. But other then those things it is still a decent TD.

I only played the arty a few times, but when i did i found it to be a decent machine, good fast aim, quick reload with a effective gun range. And it has decent armor so scouts have to take a few more shots at ya before they get a easy kill.

The only real thing that bothers (confuses) me is why the french got premium Td's & arty before any of the other nations, considering they all have entire tree's of td's and arty with full crews waiting to be trained. kind of backwards.

But all in all, nice additions.

Actually most of the Marder I's were built around around the chassis of the Lorraine 37L, only 10 were built on the FCM 36 hull. 170 were built on the Lorraine 37L hull, and other lesser known vehicles were converted for similar use including the H35.
