Was wondering that one myself.
The only thing that I can think of is some sort of backroom deal with the Chinese Govt to allow Wargamming.net to operate in counrty.
Otherwise from a business standpoint, well, its just
I'm pretty sure there are other reasons WG have for not planning to have the other 3 Chinese tanks in the RU/EU/NA server, namely :
- The Gold Type 59 is basically going to be a troll and grief bait if it were introduced. Look at my post in the first page to see what the tank looks like. It is literally a ridiculous-looking
gold-painted Type 59 with even better credit earning, but is priced at around ~$600 a piece. I heard that even in the Chinese servers, they got a ton of hate and got TK'd all the time by their own teammates.
- Most people would probably not want to see WZ-111 introduced either. Remember all the rage against pre-nerf Type 59 when it was first introduced? Well, Type 59 is actually about on par with the other tier 8 mediums. WZ-111 on the other hand, is a flat-out better version of IS-3 that is also a tier 8 premium tank. If players raged so violently against Type 59s which isn't better than other tier 8 mediums, what will happen if WG were to introduce a tier 8 premium that is flat-out better than other tier 8 heavies?
- Type 62 though, it's a bit upsetting to not see this introduced in a foreseeable future. With proper balancing, this can be made more balanced for use in RU/EU/NA server. But WG probably is still having traumatic experience from the Type 59 fiasco, having to remove one of their biggest cash cows forever (Type 59 was bought more than any other premiums when it was still available in the store).
