Well, that's certainly a different set of benefits.
Won't lose as much using a repair kit - that's going to be nice.

So after reading this historical account I see that arty has been used to take out tanks. Well all those arty haters better get their crow eating utensils ready.

When are you going to put premium ammo back on sale?
You replaced the T30 and have not allowed us the opportunity to stock up on reasonably priced gold shells for the T110 yet.
Also, could you please ask someone to look into why gold shells for the American 105 still cost 12 gold? thats more than any of it's contemporaries and more than shells for the tier 10 gun.

And I was hoping with the battle name we'd be seeing A7Vs and Mark IVs for sale.

I don't know if I should post in in the suggestion forum.
It would be very nice to see a special for the 50% off crew skill/perk reset.
I think people who tried new perks and desperately wanted to change already did it, and people who kinda want to do it but are more greedy are still on the fence waiting for such a special.
Thank you.

- Standard: B1, BDR G1B, PzKpfw 38 nA, PzKpfw IV....
Seriously, it's a pathetic special

at least I can stock up on credit consumables, but the tanks for sale are crap. Gold ammo at 50% off would have been much more helpful to me.

They left out the most memorable part of the battle, a unit of British medium tanks attacking German infantry. According to Wikipedia....
a group of seven of the new British Whippet medium tanks arrived. The Whippets attacked the German troops encountering some battalions "forming up in the open", doing much damage both with their machine guns and by running them down. Mitchell later remarked that when they returned their tracks were covered with blood.

It's like when the government offers tax credits for buying an electric car or putting up solar panels; the government thinks not enough people are doing this stuff, so they try to coax you into doing it.
Wargaming thinks there are not enough of these tanks driving around, and so they are providing incentives to buy them.

"In remembrance of the historical Battle of Villers-Bretonneux, World of Tanks is glad to announce the new special which is due to run through the upcoming weekend. Starting from April 20, 04:30 PDT, until April 24, 04:00 PDT (April 6, 11:30 UTC, till April 9, 11:00 UTC) the following offers will be available for all tankers:"
Heads up. Times not matching up.

Finally, a special that has a tank I'm looking to buy. Though it'll probably sit in the garage unplayed for the next three months... but still... yay!
