Hello if you any of you have an opinion on what the best possible Perks/Skiils are for the Maus. Please post here.

This is mine.

Commander: 6th sense > repair > jack of all trades > brothers in arms > firefighting

Gunner: repair > snap shot > firefighting > brothers in arms > camo

Driver: repair > periodic maintenance > smooth driving > brothers in arms > firefighting

Radio op: repair > view range > firefighting > brothers in arms > camo

Loader 1: repair > safe stowage > firefighting > brothers in arms > camo

Loader 2: repair > firefighting > camo > brothers in arms > safe stowage

Please post here if you have different because i have honestly no idea if that is a good order. Thanks.

Personally I would go with mentor first for you Commander because it increases the rate at which your other crewmembers gain exp for thier skills.

All the perks and skills look pretty good in that order, except you forgot one major component...

I would skip sixth sense if I was you. The Maus is very slow so you will not really be able to get out of the way after being spotted.

Was going to say this. Maus really has no way to move away after getting spotted, and the Maus sure isn't going to be like a Patton peaking over hills to take pot shots and spot. I think you'll find better use with the other perks. Also camo is virtually useless on Maus since camo coefficient is so low.

There has to be something better than camo for the maus

repair is first, this is non negotiable. when tracked(which anyone why cant reliable damage you is doing) you are arty bate more so. with full repair and a repair kit, you barley stop sliding before the track is fixed. i have seen arty shells land where i was missing me by a few feet time and time again. second is brothers in arms. after that, whatever you want.

Agreed, I just assume I'm always spotted in my Maus.

I take 6th sense on everything just because it's so damn useful. One of those skills you learn to live by.

What i've been doing to great effect is to make all my crew members take repairs, and then once they max that out and are about 30% on their next skill I do a skill drop and make my primary skill Brothers in Arms, and the secondary skill repairs on all but the commander (he gets mentor). What this does is allow me to always maintain a crew with a repair skill, and since Brothers in Arm is a Perk and repairs is a sklll my crew will continually improve without having to get a proficiency up to 100%. Say what you will about BIA, when combined with a high commander bonus and vents your crew will begin to operate at well over max proficiency (100% base+ 10% for vents will give 6% of a commander's bonus plus 5% for BIA....since stats are given in game now for a 100% crew your actual performance will be improved immensely across the board as the crew will be at 121% efficiency....if you wish to use gold consumables, your commander bonus will hit 7% and then 10% for the consumable, though this is VERY expensive to do. You will have 132% proficiency with it  :Smile_great: ).

Also, the second tier of proficiencies take FOREVER to max out; I grounds through the Tiget H, The King Tiger, and the E75 and still didn't get that 2nd proficiency to 100% until about my 40th battle in the E100. That's a LONG time to spend just to get a perk to 100%, so I recommend using my level repairs and then switch technique for any perks you desire. Past the second proficiency you probably should stick to skills and not perks, just because you won't be getting much return until you get it to 100%.

Finally: DN'T take camo with the Maus. It's a waste of time. Ditto firefighting, since extinguishers do the same thing better. Anyways, you don't catch fire enough to warrant using the slot.

takes about 5,000-6,000 games to get your 5th skill completed unless you are really good. Then you can make it around 4,500-4,700 games

Do you happen to know about 3rd and 4th skills as well?

Thanks!

depends on your avg xp per game

If you can get about 750 per game its 1100 give or take depending on what you have going on and the tank.

About 1100 games to max a third skill?

Like I said, it depends on a number of factors. It took me 1100 for my 59 and cant remember for my bat since I used the same crew from the 12t all the way up

I'm not looking for a precise number, just a guesstimate really. I think I have almost 500 games on my 59, and it has just finished its second skill, working on a third now.

takes a long time.

4300 games for Farva1 in his patton to get 95% on the 5th skill, and he has an insane avg xp per game
