Peneration but no damage

Alot...is this going to be fixed? it started getting worse with 7.2. Now with 7.3 i shot a 400mm pen HEAT round from my IS-8 towards a GW Tiger.
Penetration, no damage, no tracking no nothing. 400mm HEAT round rendered useless.

Remember: This was the fix for the 0 damage criticals. At least now we don't have to hear the little bell that signifies a critical hit!! Quite the improvement, eh?

Yes this has to be fixed, way to many of these no damage shots since 7.2.

A clan mate and I confirmed this in a test battle after 7.2.
You can be critically hit multiple times for 0 damage, have unharmed modules, and unharmed crew members. So yes, I am confirming that some critical hits DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and no I am not referring to hits to tracks, this was tested against ARMOR.
Seems like a broken mechanic to me.

I'm glad it's not just me on this one. It's annoying the heck out of me.

Like I said in this thread, I'm pretty sure that someone got a decimal in the wrong spot. That is, maybe this is supposed to happen .3% of the time, but a typo was made causing it to happen 30% of the time.
I did discover one fix for this though: simply turn off the setting that shows an enemies hit points. Then you can tell yourself that every shot your KV made was for HUGE damage and its that useless T110 next to you that can't kill the enemy.
edit: I would rather see the existing tanks work correctly than to introduce a bunch of similarly broken tanks.

I know it's annoying as crap. I've died multiple times because of this new mechanic. Rofl yesterday I was going for kill 6 vs a m18 of all things in my kv5. He had 140 hp left. I primed up a he on standby knowing that 13 mm armor don't stop the wind. First shot as predicted with ap was 0 dmg hit. Figured fine I got he in the tube he's dead. 2nd shot with he ANOTHER 0 DMG HIT. Before got 3rd round chambered panther swoops in and does a miricle 140 dmg shot with the jousting pole to steal kill. /facepalm.

This wasn't listed as something they were addressing. Why did you expect it?

I was expecting it because they talked about new consumables being introduced. I figured there would be a premium consumable that would ensure a minimum damage for penetrating hits. You know, something like 50 gold per battle to ensure each penetrating hit does at least 5% of max damage. It would be tiered by 5% all the way up to 500 gold to ensure each penetrating shot did at least 50% of the max damage. Or maybe it would be a special that you would activate on a per shot basis. E.g., you could hit Alt+L and for 5 gold "Your loader kisses the shell for luck." ensuring the shell does at 10% damage if it penetrates. Or for an extra 10% per shell, your crew will write special messages on each shell ensuring that THIS shell will be the one that wins the war.

You want to add even more pay2win crap to this game?
How about we just let the highest bidder get those rounds. During the countdown, players bid gold. At zero, who bid the most gets to win!

lol... ummm... Yes, I would love to spend more than I already do. In fact I am attempting to sell my first born to Rumpelstiltskin this very second.
I guess I was aiming a little high with those comments?
I am honored to know that I can make preposterous statements sound reasonable though...maybe I should go back into sales.
Bidding for the win might work only if the auction were one of those auctions that cost you to bid another penny. We could pay one gold to increase our bid by one gold. Hmmm...now that I think about it though, I doubt it would get us to spend as much money as if we paid for some elusive hope of a fix. :/

Since 7.2, when i hit enemy tank commander said that penetration but no damage on enemy. Is it a bug?
