I have been driving the Churchill for about 3 weeks now.  At first I wasn't to sure about it, but now I am love it and wouldn't ever get rid of it.

Though since tank has a MM cap on it, the Churchill often sees it on the top of pretty close.  Though more often then not I end of in some unusual matches.  Often noobs think just because it is a heavy it can take on a KV/-3 anytime.  A great light or medium shredder the Churchill of course isn't good at tanking on other heavies.

The purpose is to strange, funny, and those "WTF" moments of the playing the tank.

My first is last Saturday.  I was playing Lakeville and right off the bat I noticed that my team had another 4 Churchill's.  So there were 5 on our team and another 2 on the red team. 7 in one match(Almost 25% of the tanks).  Red was not at all happy how MM screwed them royally.  Of course me and fellow Churchill drivers we happy and stuck together for the most part.  Tearing and destroying a swath through the village all the way to their cap.  In the end, we only lost on of the Churchill's and destroyed the entire other team.

My other is last Wednesday. The map was Province.  The team I was against was awful.  Within a minute half their team was dead.  With the edge in my teams favor I went for their cap.  When I got there I completely expected my team to come and help.  Nope they left to get it all by myself.  In the end, I had 100% taken their cap by myself in a Churchill.  One of the slowest and most unwieldy tanks in the game got "Invader."

one time my entire team did a lemming rush behind my leo on erlenburg, we didnt lose a single guy if i remember correctly, and i wound up with 9 kills, with 3 or so of the enemy still alive lol. i loved that game

I charge with my churchill as you can see on map, 3 red box is three of tier 3 light that I surprise when I arrive and kill them, and scout rest of enemy team for my team to snipe. we won at end

Best EXP round ever playing WoT, I killed only 3 tanks, but damaged another 8!  2,575 points!

Coming up to the enemy base, saw an M7 priest. Should be easy, right? Took 12 shots to finally kill him. Those tracks are great armour.

in one churchill game before the teir cap a long time ago, i got fishermans friend or whatever its called. found a panzer 5/4 in the city. my opening shot sets him on fire (lol) and i keep pounding his front while his awfull 106pen 110 dmg 75mm keeps bouncing or doing no damage. when he has about 200 hp left, he turns and runs. i shoot him in the rear, he catches fire again! and i finish him off. i turn around and theres a tiger right there with uprgraded turret, but l56 (short 88) i bounce the first few shots, then i realize i should use the drivers hatch. its a toe to toe close range fight my 57 firing away his 88 slowly pounding. in the end he died (lol) and i survived with 300hp left... but my team lost, but i got 700xp non premium on a LOSS

Took out 2 old school KV's in a match... the guy with the derp gun went first after he missed the first shot. The guy with the 107mm cried foul when he bounced twice off my front.

I love when the weenies cry "HACK" over my vicious ROF.

I had a very interesting encounter with 3 T-14's

most T-14 drivers park their tank in front of me and let me hammer them to death - i can take down two T-14's in such a manner.
This day was not much different, and quickly encountered a pair of T-14's that stop to engage me. I didnt really want to get bogged down, so i pick on one tank and try to get cover from the other.
While im doing this, a friendly PzIV decides im doing fine and scoots past!
So i chew down one T-14 who was quite nice enough to park with his MG port pointed right at me The other moves around the wreck to engage me. I angle my hull so that my track is covering my frontal weakpoint, at this point i realise he is using HE and im taking minimal damage - once again i hammer him through his MG port.

Once i get out from behind the wreckage and start moving again, i find another T-14. This one is pinned down by some light tank and our arty - no one is able to damage him however.
I move around to try and get shots into his rear, but he isn't going to allow that. So I get into a position where i can get his MG port, and cover my front with my track again.

I dont know about this bloke - his gunner must have been knocked out early or something, but so many of his shots were bouncing! So i just picked him apart as well.

I moved into the enemy base area and engage some arty, and taking the last kill for the win. Didnt get top gun, but damaged a few things - removed the enemy top tanks almost solo and secured my flank for the rest of the team to take out the lower tier stuff on the other flank.


I love my churchill, and i cant wait to get into the tree! (but im going to wait, i need to finish of a few other projects first)

I get frustrated fighting Churchills every now and then. That little gun fires so fast that the dmg per min rivals larger slower guns, and it seems to penetrate well too. Those track skirts seem to soak up a lot of punishment. I usually kill them by hitting them in the track/faring over and over, since that's what sticks out like a sore thumb when a Church is trying to hide

I got my Churchy purely for the earning potential and was worse than useless at it when I first started - with a win rate in the low 30's I reckon I was actually hurting any team I was on !  I normally play TD's and naturally assumed (as all TD players do !) that as a heavy I was immune to any and all enemy fire.  A few games quickly cured me of that delusion but the damage had been done.

Over the past few months I've become much better at the Churchy and am now pushing 49% on it (ie average).  The light went on for me when I lost connection at game start then proceded to race into the battle and finish off a half dozen damaged enemy, thus earning my first Top Gun in the machine.  Since then I aways wait to see where the others go first, then follow the biggest bruiser I can find, usually a T1 or KV.

I run 25-30GP worth of gold ammo on every one of my tanks, for the Churchy this equates to 6 rounds of APCR.  Nothing says "Surprise" to a T1 like a barrage of penetrations when he least expects it !

The only time I dont like my Churchill is when it has to brawl other Churchills...

you guys are better than with churchills than me cause i sucked with it and now i have just sold the tank

I average almost 2 kills a game in mine. Most of the time I play it with a couple other dudes who have churchills and we always focus fire until we have to split up to make up for our team falling apart. 3 churchills with rammers saw through any tier 5 med and lower in 7 seconds or less. It's just not fair

Yup my friend jsut hit Tier 5 so i pulled my Churchill out if anything to grind some credits.  I took immense glee in rapid firing tanks that thought they could go toe to toe with me was hilarious I chewed up Kv-1 after KV-1 while slowly grinding my way forward toward base.

Both it and my Matilda did a great job most fun I have had in awhile.  Forgotten jsut how armored they are for their tier and lower.

one time i was on my own in my church and another one against 5 other churchills. 1 went attacking while i stayed defending. I expected the churchills to spread out like in most pubs happen. But they sticcked to gether. When they all rolled on the hill where i was defending with a few others with lower tier. To say it nicely, i was completely dominated by them. Since then, i know the power of churchill steamrollers. But even 1 chruch on its own against low armor heavys or all other tanks, it stays a beast.

on campinovka i took my churchill up the hill, caught a t29 facing sideways and pummeled it, by the time it realized i was there and turned its turret it was half dead, i juked his shot, and finished him off. ROF is nothing to laugh about ;)

the best fight i did in the churchill was in a epic tier 5 batlle like more then 5 tier 5 each sides... i killed 9 guys they were 6 vs only me at the end and i killed all O_O
they didint know where to shoot me most of the times unce i was against an m4 and a stug3 at the same time cose i had no choice and killed both, i came back to base becose they were caping killed the capers, then did a batle in the city when goign to there base and then finaly the last guy was a KV-1 AFK at their base lol
that was the day of the churchill special with 100% income profit or something.... gived me this :

There're few things finer than face-hugging some over-confident heavy like a KV in my Churchill and rapidly punching rounds through his mg or driver's port until his toes curl up.
