What happens to people who have already unlocked the T49, but don't own one? Do we need to have the T49 sitting in the garage to keep it from disappearing? Will the extra experience have to be made up once the patch hits?

If it's researched, it's researched. They're not gonna take it away from you just for changing its research cost. So nothing to worry about.

But that WOULD be funny. Imagine an update that reassessed a whole lot of tanks' required research? Suddenly half the players don't have anything but tier 1s again. lol
