Well they say a picture is worth a thousand words.. Just got out of a match with this guy.. he was actually bragging about having played 11k tier 2 matches....(and also insulting me..  Not sure why there's a strong correlation with people having really high battle counts.. also being total dickwads in chat)   So I just had to look him up once the match ended.  Seriously.. what kind of mentality does it require to be proud of killing people who really have no clue how to play the game?

All I can say is wow..   I subtracted his T-26 matches and ran the numbers..  outside of tier 2, he has a whopping 47% win rate.

On a partially related note.. Is there any way to make the T2 LT not suck?  I got one since it was on sale and i've regretted it ever since.  It defies logic that this is the tank you get if you buy the retail box.  Kind of seems like WG.net is trying to scare people off by new people paying money, then trying to play the game with this sorry excuse for a tank.  It isn't really even that competitive even limited to tier 2.. much less the tier 4 matches it gets 75% of the time.

Thank you for not naming & shaming; but it is too easy to figure out who that player is so I have closed this thread before it gets out of hand.  ~ Brygin

Quiet! Everyone knows overall win rate equates directly to player skill!

Not in a mini maus. You basically have a 70% chance to win if you have a decent 2 other players.... LOL. I guess I fell for the trap.... damn

Honestly, the most fun battles in this game are at tier 2. But even then, 11k battles in a single tank? Yikes.

T2 light tank. HAHAHA. I have one as well, and with an apparently OK win ratio 55%/44%, I find it hilarious on the note that every time I find myself playing it, I am starting off the match by complaining what a piece of ******* *** ** **** it is like a 75 mph cardboard box with terrible suspension and a machine gun with short range, and somehow manage to be an overall benefit to the team.

The only remedy I have is learn to use the gun properly.  It's like the Hispano machine gun on the T1-cunningham, which, at short range if you can hide in camo or around a corner from something, there are plenty of tier 1 and 2 tanks that you can make go away in a single clip of rapid fire. Even works pretty effectively against tetrarchs. Despite the vehicle's high speed, the gun characteristics seem to make it more suitable for defensive tactics.  you can still flank and do other things effectively, but to actually damage and kill something, do it at point blank for best results.

I know they say they lower tiers are more fun, but 10k battles there! Yikes! I guess you don't have to worry about the MM or many good players in tier 2...

Edit: almost word for word ninja'd... Yikes!

That's a lot of top guns but 3 snipers in 18k battles? Wow. I find it amazing that people can play a tank that much. On tanks that I really like I get bored after 300-400 battles, I don't think I could manage 11k lol.

I know the player the OP screen-shotted. Did he try to convince you that the capitalist way is the wrong way? Is he a follower of Karl?
Yeah he plays a lot of T-26. He's good with it too. Is he good with anything else? I don't think so. Is this the first thread about his unusual playing history? No
Are you naming and shaming if you don't show the name but we ALL recognize him? No. Am I done with the rhetorical questions? Yes.

Come on, man!  No need to talk about me like that when I'm right here!

Hunh, looking at his tank history, he was really serious about not playing anything that wasn't on the way to the IS-7.

EDIT: or the 50B, durr

I think we tried to recruit a guy that had a is7 and a t2. I knew it was pointless, but it would be funny to have a guy like that in the clan. Mascot :)

Because a small minority of stat padders negates the grand majority of people who earn their stats.

We might as well put everyone on death row for the small minority of serial killers out there.

Yeah.. Though this thread probably wouldn't exist if the guy hadn't been a total dick. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered looking him up.

It is a different kind of tank. It has speed, but the view and radio ranges make it a bad scout. But you cannot use that speed all the time because it's on-the-move accuracy is crap. You also cannot hurt some things because the gun has low penetration. Avoid Stuarts, and be very wary of Lees, T18s, and T57s as all of them are tough enough that you likely will bounce at least half your clip.

However, those things you can pen can be killed (or at least severely wounded) if you stop for a moment. Once that reticule closes, you can unleash an average of 180 damage quickly enough that they probably wont get a second shot at you. That is enough to kill any Tier 1/2 enemy and make others think twice.

You are correct that it cannot really hit above it's tier, but I get placed in those matches fairly seldomly; most of the time, I have a chance at killing at least 2/3 of he enemy team.
