Can you guys please improve the map rotation in random battles? Sometimes the same map would appear over and over again and there would be no sign of any other maps. So my suggestion maybe after 10 or so games give us the option to choose our map.

Would take away from the 'randomness' of a public battle if everyone could choose where to go. In addition, there are a few maps that everyone likes and some that no one likes, so it would cause a server overload or a deficiency on those maps. (ex: what if everyone was trying to play himmelsdorf?) On that same note, what if 3 or 4 people picked Province and no one else did? Those players could be in the queue for quite a while or else get into a partially filled game.

A while ago WG suggested they were considering an option to select maps you did not want to play. This would be a good option that could be limited to 2 maps or limited time otions so server performance would not be impacted.

I know how you feel about the lack of randomness. today i was given the same map for 4 battles in a row. i know that it is technically random, but there should be a few lines of code put into the map generator that stops the same map popping up more than 2 or 3 times in a row. just my 2 cents

Pretty much this. The entire structure of the game is designed around random map picks and random team generation.

At some patch in the future the map repeat is supposed to stop at 3 in a row. But I could not find the notification. I expect this is troubling to the match maker to implement. And any change has to balanced against a delay is setting a match . . .

Better idea would to be to "lock" a map just played and it only unlocks after X battles. It'd completly end chains of the same map while still getting oodles of new maps in.

I would like the option to de-select the map or 2 that I hate most, but too much of this will adversely impact matchmaking (longer queues).
