Alright i have never been killed by a Russian player ever but the have insulted me several times(not that i care) and have seen people get killed by some of the Russian players so here might be a solution.
1.) get rid of the text next to the player name that says US, EU, RU
2.) introduce a translator that converts Russian to English and vice versa
so thats my suggestion to a problem that people have experienced.

I see your point and feel your pain, However the use of the US, EU, and RU helps with correctly using the names to find the correct core realm they are from so that if they commit any EULA violations they can have their core account banned or suspended and not just the test server account. If the repeatedly team kill or commit other EULA violations report them, and when enough is enough they will be removed from their home server.
Translator would require un needed code since the server your on is a shared one however when it goes live you will play it on your native IE the NA server where our primary language is english. Its just not worth the effort to write code just for a test realm. In the past the population of the test server was low since most are farming like mad to get the content ready for the patch. Those of us on the Supertest team use the Wargaming Teamspeak and dont have to worry about the language issue since we are all from the NA team.
Again I feel your pain and though you have good intentions these options are not usable. I still say the best start is to remove team damage from the game or at least from the test realm.

well i saw 2 RU's tk 2 other RU's well hear me out because the other 2 RU's deserved it 1 was a T-50-2 other just a T-50 and both were grinding against the other 2 RU players so they couldn't properly move so they got what was coming to them

Just make TK penalties follow you to the main sever and the problem will be solved. Being TKed doesn't happen nearly as much at higher tier matches than it does lower tier though, so if you are having trouble you might want to play just your higher tiers.
This group of players do seem to have an issue with people talking in English, it's the first time i've been told to "Shut up or talk in private" and more than once. o.O

I had the same thoughts on removing our RU and US tags, would make life in testing a bit more bearable. I'm always on the end of some ru unfair play, be it insults or team damage etc. Get's a bit old and really uncalled for, and i don't even chat in game usually.

I've noticed that the enemy team will get themselves killed trying to kill me. So, I just sit there while they point their turrets at me and my teammates kill them. Sometimes they won't even turn or back away in the hopes that I will expose myself. It really is funny, in a sad, sad, way.
#27 Posted Apr 25 2012 - 17:38
I don't know what changed but most of the RU players seem to have stopped the rampant TKing. I only get shot after we've won the match, now, which is honestly fine.

Just had a platoon of 3 attack me in my poor wittle french arty. I got blown up, another RU player blew up that guy, and then the rest of the tkers killed him. This started a mass brawl at cap which ended when a B1 finally took on both the two remaining mutineers by himself. By the end of it we had 3 traitors and 4 loyal tanks down leaving the team with almost half the entire team wiped out in the first minute. Somehow our top tiers managed to make a game out of it anyway. Still they must have been mad having to make up for 7 tanks.
No doubt these griefers were intending trouble from the start but that troublesome US tag probably made me the first target.
I think its caused enough problems that it needs to go. It serves no purpose to identify people by their server anyway.
Still this whole incident was pretty funny.

To be honest the Russians on the test server are pretty ****ing bad, so i presume they are just pissed off with thee losses in general with there poor skill and they take it out on US players on there team in there next match
#31 Posted Apr 25 2012 - 22:22
I've noticed the Russian player aren't very skilled too. Maybe it's just the kids I end up with at my play time though (pst).
I have noticed less tk'ing lately though, a few tests ago it was much worse.

I agree with getting rid of the EU, US, and RU suffixes. I've been team killed just for the US after my name.
Don't reply to the antagonizing comments and just try to help the team and let it roll off your back when some clown tries to start something. Let's cut the crap and play the game (everyone).

Yeah, these russian players are overrated. It's not a "different playstyle", it's that the majority are horribads (gamer speak). Many will take shots at me to annoy me, some try to TK you. Some block your path not allowing you to move. Most of them will shoot you in the back at the end of the game. Yet WG does nothing against these people, as we've complained in the past and it's getting worse now for proof. Though, I have a sinking feeling that if you were to TK them, you'd get banned/warned real fast.
Remove the location from the tags, see if that fixes a little bit of the problem. If not, then WG you're going to have to moderate those servers as you can't test when you're being TK and get grief the whole time.

I haven't played a lot on the test servers, but I have never had any trouble there either. The hassling must take place more at certain times of day. I've had company and platoon invites, which doesn't seem at all unfriendly. I agree that taking off the US suffix could help, for those who do encounter unfriendlies.

I started a match in my T14 and was immediately surrounded by three _RU players on my own team. They began shooting me which forced me to shoot back. They had me surrounded. I had 10% health left when I destroyed a _RU arty that shot at me. The other two then finished me off. I was immediately banned for 24 hours! These Russians basically trick you into situations like this. Do not kill your team members no matter what... I think that is what they want, for you to get kicked off the server. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

How about you just TK them instead? Why let a bunch of RU players bully us? Lets revive the cold war on WOT test server. TK their asses..

We draw your attention to the fact that the test server is subject to EULA and general rules of World of Tanks game server. The restrictions and punishments are the same as on the official game server of World of Tanks. The details of the v.7.3 update public test can be discussed in a special forum section. granted, the autosystem is a tad broken to say the least, but, same rules and everything on the live server apply to the Test Server as well...
