If the server is showing as down for maintenance then try flushing your DNS cache. Worked for me twice today

Flushing DNS didnt do the trick, I had to also reboot my router. Weird, I guess they must be changing something.

I got in. Tried all the otehr stuff mentioned and it did not work. Then i logged onto my modem/router and disconnected from my isp, then reconnected and it worked.

Ive tried flushing my cashe and it still did not work after multiple attempts, it still says down for scheduled maintenance. I I restarted and now im thinking I need to reload the game. My dad and I play on line together, one on a laptop and the other on a desk top. So it cant be the modem or anything since he is playing fine right now

This is happening for my wife.. She tries to login and says the server is down for maintenance, but I can login (on the same computer) just fine..

OK I was able to get it working.
What I did was I went to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\wargaming.net (If you are on XP - C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\wargaming.net)
These are hidden folders, and you might have to go to "Folder and Search Options" then View, then select "Show hidden folders and files."
I renamed the WoT folder in there (you can rename it to anything. I did WoT_old).. After I did that, I could login on my account. I believe this folder contains your preferences (key bindings, audio, etc).
After you rename it, World of Tanks will create a new folder. You will have to redo your game settings.
